When you cut a vein, the blood is exposed to all of the oxygen in the air, and the hemoglobin in the red blood cells binds to that oxygen just like it would in your lungs, turning the blood bright red

Be careful using copics on top of pencils, you can get pencil bits stuck in the brush nib and clog the nib 0.0 it's probably "safer" to use the chisel nib if you go over pencil since the chisel is less spongey than the brush and probably won't pick up as much pencil bits as the brush. The nibs are replaceable but it's still kinda sucky if you kill a nib 😅😅
