I used the Hoover Clean Slate to Clean my car seats, this is how it went

Let's revisit the Clean Slate by Hoover! This entry level extractor is great for many applications in your life. So how does it perform when you try to use it in a detail environment? A few people were interested in seeing more of the detail perspective, but with winter/spring there wasn’t a good time, so now there is! Obviously there are more expensive and better extractors out there, but for the price and what the average person will be using this for, this just fits. So will traditional methods behave better, worse, or will they just about be the same in comparison? Let's find out!

Why didn't you use the bigger hoover head. That would have done a much better job.

What solution did you use that came with the Hoover extractor ?

I used the hoover clean slate solution called "deep clean and restore". It has a green type of label with a flower I believe. I also used the sample size that came with the product.

How does it work for the floor carpet and mats?

For the price, it works good. I use different techniques for the mats ( I mainly have a rubber mat so don't worry about it much), but have used it on them and it holds up. Professional extractors or steam cleaners etc are a lot more and do work better/faster, but this does the job, just need to either agitate the area or make sure to get the solution in there
