I applaud the commitment. If you think about it, you guys are making the financially responsible choice. All the extra parts people run into when maintaining a sports car now have a home.....in the other car.

Lol, I did something similar. My Dad passed his old commuter onto me 5 years ago, a 2nd gen manual CR-V. When I started having knee problems from driving a manual 20,000+ miles/year, I got another CR-V, an automatic one! Congratulations on the two car solution

Once again, you've come up with best video to start Thursday with. Congrats on your beautiful new Mazdaspeed! And oh heck yeah to a comparison video between the two. If you find a place to do it, how about an informal drag race, braking test, autocross challenge, etc.? (P.S. As owner of an ND2 in Zircon Sand, the shot at 12:50 is appreciated!)

I just did an alternator. It doesn't matter what vehicle you drive, that bottom bolt is a Royal pain in the neck. Had to take off the wheel, remove the fender dust cover, buy a new telescoping ratchet to reach and then with the bolt halfway out there wasn't enough friction to allow the ratchet to backswing and it just sat there moving back and forth. I fought with that thing for longer than I care to admit and my neighbor walked by with thinner arms/hands reached right in and handed it to me🤦🏻♂️I wasn't even mad lol.
