I like Golden Cricket too. You have the semi-pun and then it also includes her coloring. The kids are both so cute. I would love it if Smudge turns out to be nicely conformed and can be the newest buck with his pretty little jet black self. I watch a hobby sanctuary farmer who has one all black buck with an impressive set of curling and thick horns and he is quite the celebrity by the name of Ringo. He is one of the sanctuaries featured pets because he is such a force to be reckoned with. He is elderly now and he is in pain so he gets his cup of cereal every day drenched in his cbd oil. The other goats try to steal it, but rarely succeed. Said all that to say that I have a soft spot in my heart for little black bucks.

I had a feeling once Cricket became a bottle baby that as long as she wasn't structurally unsound you'd keep her around! As much as Daphne's line is producing the best milkers, I enjoy the project of trying to make improved goats through Tilly's line the most, and I'm so excited to see how it goes forward! I'd love to see another year of Honey, too, but I know that's a harder sell depending on how many of the first fresheners you're thinking of retaining
