He 100% should have taken it, more likely to kill with secondarys and chain further. And just flat double damage on bosses

Yeeeeh... Even when fighting crowds it would mean double damage on almost every explosion except the initial middle one..

game needs like half or a quarter of the screen shake, and some kick ass chip tune sound track and it'll be incredible. I think the audio experience of this game certainly holds it back.

I love when SHMUPs keep this retro vector style with some geometric designs to get that *_Asteroids_* type vibe. (This also has me a bit nostalgic for *_Warning Forever_* which I haven't thought of in ages).

One reason might be that in all probability a lot of devs are great at coding but have very little skill when it comes to graphics. So for one-man projects a stylized approach may give much better results than trying to make something more elaborate.

It is a bit confusing, but the wording using "Cooldown Speed" would mean the cooldown is quicker. It's not saying cooldown increased or cooldown time increased, but the speed. Speed up -> A 10 second cooldown occurs in less than 10 seconds. What does make this a bit worse with wording is that there's other things that appear to affect other skills cooldown and they use different wording with just saying "Cooldown" and decrease which would be a positive. So both ways are fine in my opinion, but it needs to be consistent.

Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1808 Oh a very cool game indeed :D looking forward to seeing more when the full thing's out Oh I like the Wing Man upgrade, don't find it too distracting myself, what I would find very hard is both keeping an eye on dodging the bullets while aiming the guns XD I believe the "Increased Cooldown" means that the bar before cooldown would be longer, like you get more shots in before it overheats God damn, you know, we all knew the Grenades where special when Tom aced the first 2 grenade shots, but god damn, fire works indeed XD amazing
