Gynaecological pain is so often ignored and downplayed, it's frustrating that you had to fight to get your pelvic scan. BTW, if you've never had a pelvic scan and you're worried, or anyone else reading this is, don't be - I had one a couple of years back for some weird symptoms and it was painless and quick. I hope you get the answers you need soon.

Hi, I know you don’t want a ‘diagnosis’ and I’m not here for that. Just wanted to share my story from back in 2012. I had the same symptoms and the same tests, which I also had to push for! The tests went on for a year and in the end I was diagnosed with IBS. Obviously this is just me, but just wanted to say! I did get better with diet changes but like you, I was really concerned about the symptoms exactly as you’ve said. And when the docs said they couldn’t find a problem initially, I was like… but I’m still getting the symptoms! Much love to you and I hope you get it all sorted quickly and easily xx

If you think it maybe endometriosis it may not show up on a scan - i was riddled with it but only became evident upon having a laparoscopy nothing at all showed on any scans or internals. I suffered for over 20 years and age 39 had my ovaries removed 😫

I watch Lauren to, adore her vlogs. Good for you, keep pushing for an answer to your pain, it’s not ok for doctors to do exams and because those come back clear just leave it there, further investigation is needed when you are still experiencing the symptoms. Hope you get a resolution soon Jess ❤

I had to give up my job in the summer due to pain etc. I’ve gif fibromyalgia arthritis and osteoporosis so I feel for you. I’ve got an abdominal cyst the size of a grapefruit and my gp says leave it bee. Oh yes and sepsis will get me when it bursts’ keep pushing x

I can so relate to this. I've had dozens of pelvic scans (I have endometriosis and it took years and a surgery to get a proper diagnosis) and they're fine! Good luck and keep pushing, I hope you get some answers soon.

Oh I love Lauren! She’s so entertaining to watch. Sorry you’re having health issues. It can be so frustrating trying to get to the cause when you have to push it to get seen. I have Crohns Disease and for a couple of years I was told nothing was wrong. So definitely push as much as you need to get a quicker diagnosis and treatment. We’ll all be around if you need to vent or as a distraction if you need it ❤

No one is a better advocate for you than you. I think so often people take what a doctor says and leave it at that but we know our bodies best and I always say if you feel that you’re being ignored or sort of fobbed off with any diagnosis, if any at all, to push for an answer. For example i was wrongly diagnosed for 3 years (multiple incorrect diagnoses in that time) but I knew none of them were right. It took things becoming very serious for me (my bowel completely ruptured) to get my correct diagnosis by which point I needed surgery and spent 2 months in the hospital. I don’t say that to scare anyone but simply to make a point of the fact we know ourselves better than most and that can include doctors

Jess. I have twice in my life experienced bad cramps..Twice nothing showet up gynocology wise..Twice I went to a chiropracter who found my pelvis was pushed out..After treatment my symptoms went away..

Hi Jess, I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis and am getting looking at for Endometriosis and have experienced what can only be described as medical gaslighting. My advice is try to keep a wee diary of symptoms for a month or so and I found that when I took my male partner with me to appts they actually took me more seriously when he backed me up. So frustrating. Good luck with it ❤

I had something similar over a period of about 3 years and had loads of scans and again like you thought it was worse case scenario but it wasn’t turned out to be hormonal and we changed my contraception so stay positive ❤❤

I know what it feels like, I’ve suffered chronic pain for a number of years but for my back, leg but that was a slipped disc/ sciatic and long term. Fibromyalgia maybe but I’m not a doctor or trying to diagnose you bless you. Get well soon

It could be cysts thats causing the cramping i have pcos and when i do get a period i suffer with cramping terribly. I self diagnosed myself then after being really persistent my doctor then got me checked . I personally have no trust in doctors , long story but my mum was mis diagnosed and passed away. Im 32 and have had pcos for 12 years but hope all works out for u xx

Anything to do with our female anatomy, I feel like gets downplayed so much. Especially when we start having issues. I had a my family doctor (a male - #1 problem right there) tell me that it's normal for a woman to bleed (60+ days straight) for months on end and he didn't see a problem with it. I finally went to a female nurse who was like, no there's something wrong here. Just keep advocating for yourself and pushing to figure it out! We're on fertility clinic #3 and finally getting somewhere. Hope everything turns out okay! And I love watching your vlogs!

I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry and googling is the worst thing you can do. You are doing the right thing and keep pressing for investigations until you have a diagnosis. If your primary care doctor is at a loss (which they are more often than not, because they only deal with the very basic things) you have every right to be referred to a specialist. Good luck and hang in there, you will have a peace of mind very soon x

Hope u get on OK jess xx don't worry about the pelvic scan I've had quite a few and they are ok. It's annoying that you have to push for scans. I was diagnosed with pcos in 2005 when I was 25 and over the years I've had way more worse pain and terrible periods. I went back to docs and asked for scan has always pain on one side. They said we know you have pcos so no scan. I had to push for scans I was diagnosed with adenomyosis on top of pcos last year. It's like endometriosis but lining grows in the womb. Also diagnosed with fibromyalgia this year so had enough of helwth issues this year gets you down. Hopefully you get the answers you need and things. I have pcos and have a child and lots of people do and have and lots of celebs. They also can offer you help on the NHS has you have no children. If it's endo they can do lots of things to help someone I know did and they had another child after. Wish you the best of luck with getting answers xx

I’m 61 years old ..I been going though Silveria pain cramping for days I felt like someone was ripping my inside out and in my you know what I’ve been through all that to test everything mine was actually coming from my spine. I have a bad full L5 and he had a bolting disc, and I’ve got something else wrong with it nerve damage and it’s the nerve from my spine giving the sharp pain like horrible. Are used to be in fetal position the hours of days but I’m monitor pain pill so it seems to help it just wee bit so I feel for you and know what it’s like it’s frustrating x
