@@Leatherface42O Quite a bit of salt in the seasoning. It would only be on the surface if it did get anything and get killed anyways in the cooking process.

I've been making an almost exact copy of this recipe for about 15 years. Except in the rub instead of using chipotle, I add maple sugar,and I also add red pepper flakes. For the barbeque sauce,no chipotle,but add NH maple syrup,and diced McIntosh apples. You just have to add the apples after you strain the sauce,otherwise they lose their consistency,you dont want them cooked,just peel and core them first. Try it on pulled pork,you won't be disappointed. With the coleslaw on top it's a kaleidoscope of flavors,and textures on your tongue. Yummy for your tummy.

actual restaurant cooking sucks :/ long hours into the evening get home late on your feet most of the time little time for your family work weekends and the customers don't know you or care about you. cooking mostly servants work and has always been that way. unless you're going to be a Michelin star chef or own your own restaurant don't even bother, seriously. get a 9 to 5 if you want to grind out a living so much better, otherwise pursue your passion. let the excons, immigrants and dummies work restaurant kitchens. guy in the video is working for himself he's not making someone else rich. he's not a restaurant chef so why he inspires you I have no idea. if anything he'd inspire you to be a youtube chef lol !!

I made this last week and I must say it’s the best pulled pork I’ve ever tasted. It tastes amazing with or without the BBQ sauce. I’ve tried it in a sandwich, mixed into Mac and cheese, as a base under poached eggs, and mixed into corn casserole. All of them were fantastic.
@wolfman0110009 ай бұрын
We have made this 7 in the last nine months and the only change we have made to the recipe is to add bbq sauce to the pork while shredding it, never enough sauce and the pork just soaks it up melding there flavours. The sauce is about the most common sauce we make now, large amounts with alot of onion, as those onions are oh so good on just about anything. Once again thanks for the recipe, especially the sauce and onions, take care, God bless one and all.

Another good thing to do with pulled pork when you're on your 5th day of BBQ sandwiches and are hankering for a change: Cubanos! Even if you don't have the right kind of bread for it, and you only have cheap lunchmeat ham, you can still get 80% of the way there, and it's still delicious even with just dumb old toasted wheat bread.
