@@blazinday People who say "all openings" in their title and the duration is 20 mins and they definitely didn't watch all versions is the reason I have trust issues. So I'm always thankful for people like you who sees all versions. It's so painful to get through people talking about the openings without the full experience. The ones who skip the alt versions when they come up always gives me a bad taste in my mouth. Like it's 30 mins long but 30 seconds is too much of a life to waste or something.

These parts are animated: Part 1: Phantom Blood Part 2: Battle Tendency Part 3: Stardust Crusaders Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable Part 5: Vento Aureo/Golden Wind Part 6: Stone Ocean These are yet-to-be animated (manga only): Part 7: Steel Ball Run Part 8: JoJolion And this part is ongoing, with the recent release of the 2nd chapter: Part 9: The JOJOLands Each part has a different protagonist- All of them are related to the first in someway, but to avoid spoilers I'll just say that after part 6 it's... complicated. That last one is so good just because for those who have watched the series, it's filled with references to everything else that's come before this, and every previous main character, it's a culmination of all of JoJo up until that point that feels like it wraps up full circle and even hints at the villain's plans and abilities during this last part of the series

Jojo has 9 distinct parts in 2 separate timelines, each featuring a new protagonist, they are all descended in some way from the first protagonist. 1st Timeline Phantom Blood Op 1 Battle Tendency Op 2 Stardust Crusaders Ops 3 & 4 Diamond is Unbreakable Ops 5-7 Golden Wind Ops 8 & 9 Stone Ocean Ops 10 & 11 2nd Timeline Steel Ball Run - no anime yet Jojolion - no anime yet The Jojo Lands - no anime yet, also literally just started last month, only 2 chapters so far. May or may not be the final part since the author is in his 60s now and has been doing this series since the late 80s Also lol the girl in the last Ops is the daughter of the part 3 protag, he's not her bf.

And the 3rd version of the op was just a diff song (same vocals though) :) 21:46 yes that's the same guy he changes his hair quite a lot 36:57 That's his daughter Jolyne lol 😂 she's cool 😊. Opening 7s 1st version no longer exists in any official streaming sites or even the dvd/bluray releases (not even in the extras). It was more a placeholder due to the team workin on tht part of Jojo struggling with budget and time crunch. Version 2 and 3 are pretty much the ones tht majority of ppl will ever see now.

The last OP is special because it signals really well that it's the end of an era for JoJo, without spoiling anything. There's still two manga parts that haven't gotten an anime adaptation yet and the author of JoJo is currently writing his last JoJo part, part 9. It will have been a work decades in the making and I think he deserves a warm departure, few works enjoy this sort of grip on culture and he's stated that by Stone Ocean he had exhausted most of his creative endeavor with his universe. The next two parts will be *very* different from the ones before while still maintaining the wild and wacky adventures that the series holds its name for.

The manga started in the 80s, there was a 90s anime but it only covered part 3, and the David Productions reboot from 2012-present is pretty much *the* way to experience Jojo. Manga readers will *always* tell you otherwise, but all the changes from the new anime were made not to cover plot holes, but to add context to things people really didnt *care* about from the manga even though Araki probably wanted us to care.

You're correct. Part 3 of JoJo's did get an anime adaptation in 1993. However, a complete and faithful adaptation of all parts began in 2012.

Bloody Stream is just too good. It'll always be my favorite. Stand Proud got me hype af though when I first heard it. Once you watch the show you'll appreciate the openings a lot more. The openings do a great job of being cryptic and symbolic of things that happen without spoiling everything. There's a lot hidden in there that you won't understand until you watch.

As for a actual fun fact, I've heard from numerous sources that most of the people at David Productions, the anime studio behind this, were already big fans of the manga and were enthusiastic about adapting it. The Mangaka, Hirohiko Araki, even showed up to give them advice and additional information whenever they asked for it.

The openings spoil everything about the show, down to the smallest detail but none of it makes any sense until you’ve seen it and go back and put the openings under a microscope, I won’t say which opening or which part but one of the openings literally shows exactly how certain characters die half a season before you even get to that point and you never even notice it And I won’t spoil anymore than this (very minor) but the girl from the last two openings and the guy from opening 3 and 4 are NOT together, she’s his daughter

imma help you out with the 3 versions of opening 5- the first set in "Diamond Unbreakable" saga: * 1st version: the cooler song. * 2nd version: still the cooler song, but a bug looking spirit (it's called a "stand" though) is added to the shorter boy. * 3rd version: different VARIATION of the song like you said. and of course that weird bug creature is still there. i say that cause normally people reacting to these openings, play only the 1st and 3rd versions. so as a result, they only see BOTH CHANGES in said 3rd version. happy to help

I would 100% recommend watching the series, its an amazing and bizarre journey. The openings for part 1, 2, 3, and 6 have a different art style than the anime the studio that did the openings during part 4 and 5 were busy so the animation team made the openings themselves.

You were pretty close with your guess of it being an old anime with a reboot, I'ts pretty old, only 2 years younger than dragon ball, 1986, and there was a 2 attempts to make an anime, a movie that covered season (parts) 1 and 2 and an oav anime that covered part 3 but they were abandoned in the 90s, the movie only staying on screen for like 2 days or 2 weeks, pretty sure it became a lost media, but in 2012, David production took on the challenge of animating all parts and they are still at it today, part 6 being done in the anime and part 9 in the manga being ongoing

There are in fact a few video games that very well uphold the style and as far as I know (I'd assume the newest one from 2022) has every character from every part in the roster Also idk if you meant Persona like the game but yeah Persona 5 uses some core concepts from part 3 and has a direct reference to certain villain. Not sure how early on the inspiration was for the persona franchise but I love that they committed to it.
