Stumbled across your channel and really enjoyed this video!! Subscribed!! In the UK, universities in major cities, are separated like this. So you walk around a part of the city and find that some of the buildings are different faculties of one university. In Central London, you can find faculties of 2 different universities, having buildings next to each other. This means that there are areas of London that have a majority student population!! Some people like this layout but I would have liked a university where everything was together so that I could have had more opportunity to meet people outside of my major.

I have been to Xiamen a few times but never heard about this. Next time will definitely check it out. Such an interesting video. I think most viewers might not know that when you say it's a "normal" university that the normal is part of the name in China and means it's essentially a teacher's training college, not 'normal' as in 'regular'.
