Yeah I am kinda guy who likes having a look to the usage instructions of even the simplest things. I was very happy when I saw that and used in that way also praised to the persons mindset who added value by taking advantage on these 1 use bags. But also I was already knew that most of the people wouldn't be aware of it. I think this little thing clearly shows how some people are way more assertive and confident on almost everything with no basis and this behavior misleading them and making life harder... Keep calm and have a look around the product you paid for before rushing straight into ice cubes...

@@midlifemigration4256 wtf, why do you all not just have bags of ice? Why this whole waste of time and effort to put them in small sections? Just put the cubes in a bag and tie the top? I really don’t understand why someone would invent this. Can you help a genuinely confused American understand. Is it because you don’t use ice as often? I experienced that when I went to Canada, but that was just a normal bag of ice that instead of being 5 lbs was like the size of a small bag of frozen peas. 🤔

@@Pattern51lover The fridge in our motorhome (RV) is tiny, the freezer bags are a handy way of making ice in advance in our small freezer - particularly if we are miles from a store. I just learnt that it was a Danish guy that invented these bags.. Danish inventor Erling Vangedal-Nielsen patented the single-use ice cube bag in 1978. He was inspired to do so after spending a night with friends where their need for ice was in excess of that which could be provided by ice cube trays; he therefore filled standard plastic bags with water and froze them, the ice to subsequently be retrieved with a hammer. The design was subsequently revised to feature individual compartments for each ice cube, with a seal at the bag's entry point. The ice cube bag has subsequently been marketed and adopted worldwide.

@@Pattern51lover It takes more time and effort to smash one of those large bags of ice into convenient usable pieces compared to a bag like that.

@@Pattern51lover Yeah, as an American, out here in Europe (I just moved to NL) there's a lot less space for things than in giant America with its sky-high trees and endless roads--which is part of why public transportation in Europe is way better; those size differences have their ups and downs. I don't see bags of ice in stores here (partly because it just doesn't get that hot in general, but also because it's store space and refrigeration) but you can stack these little bags easily even in a tiny, tiny apartment freezer space.
