One thing all Gunners need to remember ... it's NOT harsh to have wanted Wenger out. He has underachieved for a DECADE ... for a club the size of Arsenal they have been poor for years. Wenger lasted longer than he would have at any other top club due to Arsenal's preference to keep things tidy. You could be entering an era of change now, a barren few years, but it had to happen.

Liverpool fan here. The fans who publicly wanted Wenger to leave were correct. I'm sure they would have preferred Wenger to gracefully exit a few years ago and I'm sure their motivation was concern for how the club has begun to drift. No one is bigger than any football team. It's not entirely Wenger's fault, but he should have recognised 3 years ago that it was time to leave. He was a great manager for a great club, but every era has to end.
