Okay, just finished playing the demo and it was fun. It was not bad. Demo ends after the 3 day timer is over, no saves. Managed to fully repair the house, crafted serrated steel sword and great helm. Didn't get time to explore much other than a bandit camp to the north east. Crafting one at a time instead of multiples is a pain. You can fully remove trees if you continue hacking the stump. Building walls might be bugged, my stone wall just crafted a wooden post. I have no real complaints about the combat other than blocking needs to be better, I usually just time it when they charge and hit them and jump back.

At around 20:11, you take issue with the bandit's attack hitting you while he is facing the wrong way. I don't think it's a combat design flaw. However, the gameplay and more particularly the combat looks very clunky and to me seems like it needs a lot more to be engaging over the long period this game is seeking to have you play through.
