I love both physical and e-books. I currently have about 400 books on my kindle and the ones that I really love I buy the hardcovers for my shelves. Also, you can get a lot of e-books at great deals on Amazon. Just keep an eye out!

I just watched a feature on Louise Erdrich's (Ojibwe) writings earlier today. I'm so excited to read her work. I'm also going to read Tommy Orange's (Cheyenne/Arapaho) "There There." This year I wanted to diversify my readings more. I definitely want to include more Anishinaabe authors in my selections.

I read Convenience Store Woman earlier this year, and yes it was very different and thought-provoking. My take on it was that the main character was actually a sociopath, but trying to fit into normal life as best as she could by following the store manual, leading a regimented life, and trying to meet society's expectations about marriage. But I don't think she ever truly felt any emotions.
