I really dig this track. I go way back with CS. While this isn't my favorite track by them, I think it's solid and shows growth. I'm excited to see how they weave these new sounds into the rest of the album. Call me crazy, but I totally get Phil Collins / Peter Gabriel vibes off this and i like it. As always, Nightlife - New Low is waiting for your ears, my dude. It'll be such a refreshing change of pace for the channel when you get around to it. Great vid as always ✌️🤘

It's a pretty good song, not as good as The Amulet tracks imo but still solid. I didnt know Anthony Green has drug issues, that sucks to hear. My favorite CS songs are Lustration and Premonition of the Hex

Yeah, I’ve only realised some of his songs talked about addiction when I got addicted myself. Anthony helped me understand some things about addiction too, hence why I love this band so much and I care so much for his well being. ❤️

I agree with your take that it’s probably a teaser for the rest of the EP I think that’s the only thing that makes sense. I think this song is kinda boring overall tho so I’m hoping it’s better in the context of the album.

The new ep sound kinda basic for circa survive. Has me feeling like they missed the mark. None of those magical instrumentals that make the band as much as Anthony’s voice does. Alittle sad (for me) but I’m glad they are still exploring music.

Yeah drift was the only one that excited me with that chunky bass line. Anthony green is always great but their music has definitely lost all the post hardcore vibes and turning into just pitchfork psychedelic indie shit.
