Absolutely love Circa and everything they’ve ever done. The song Frozen Creek means so much to me. For whatever reason it’s the melody I would hum to my son when he was a newborn putting him to sleep. I always think about those times when I hear it

@@adamhurt612 right? Circa survive, saosin, and other underrated band that ive been listened to like underoath, get scared, breaking benjamin, bring me the horizon etc… all those bands were never known between me and all my friends, guess i’m the only one that lucky to find all of these bands 😗 ❤️

This album has stuck with me all through my life. So many good memories. Frozen Creek is my favorite song on here, closely followed by Imaginary Enemy

I am so glad to see other people just get it. It saddens me to see so many people write off circa just because of Anthony’s voice; I mean I don’t mind people not liking it I just wish it were for better reasons.

Same! I’m bias for sure. But I just love Anthony. Both as a musician and as a person. I saw him live last year and he sounded better than ever. I hope we see more Circa some day. -Zach

Spirit of the stairwell was about when his at that time wife having a miscarriage and the depression that followed (a lot of this album I think was very influenced by that)

I mean most of this album is pretty simple I think. Mostly just about struggling to write, to keep up with the expectations of the first two albums, dealing with mental health problems and marital issues, working out how to keep being a band etc.

This was prime Circa for sure.. I was still in HS. I remember.. This album changed my life. Edit: Damn you skipped over the best part in Through The Desert Alone! That bridge is breathtaking! "Wasted with the rhythm, angry at the melody. How did you stay so sweet?"
