I got my first non-heart ascension 20 win with Ironclad yesterday, using Snecko eye, bludgeon, double tap and necronomicom with Shuriken. I feel like I wouldn't have achieved this without watching and learning from your vids. Thanks Baarlor and keep making great content! Now i just need to win A20 with Silent and Watcher

Played Spire again for the first tie in a while the other night, took a money start and picked up Brimstone in the second floor shop. I am pretty sure I have never taken it before, being intimidated by giving my enemies strength, but a little angel on my shoulder kept saying "health is a resource." A0, but I did make it through the time eater. Very fun run.

I was really surprised that he skipped the remove there. I'm a low-level player, and I would have thought he'd always take any chance for a remove. Guess that's one more thing to learn: when you'd actually skip the remove.

@@TheTookinatorHe skipped the remove because he was going to a second shop. If you are going to two shops and only plan on removing at one of them, it’s better to remove at the second shop. That way you get to see what’s in the second shop before deciding how to spend your money.

Even after watching his runs, I still lose a20 ironclad 90% of the time lol. Just certain fights starting a2 where the enemy attacks repeatedly for 20+dmg and I cant out-block / out-defend and I get crushed cause my deck is still mostly defends and strikes with a few upgrades / relics like wtf am I supposed to do there?

I say this with all due respect, as someone who watches every single one of your videos, but I can't help but notice that so many of the Ironclad videos that get uploaded to KZbin are Dark Embrace/Feel No Pain/Corruption runs. For me at least, it gets a little boring. I was really enjoying your recent Defect and Silent runs because there is so much variety there.

I enjoyed this video - but I was wondering as I watched if Dead Branch on Ironclad does tend to reduce down to a block build of some kind. You either get Corruption/Feel No Pain/Barricade from the Dead Branch, or you're always happy to take it as soon as it's offered as a real card.
