Spider-Man in older comics and especially Marvel vs Capcom games has a very swole and buff body, typically to exaggerate that he’s a superhuman but lately in comics (like the past 15-20 years) they’ve been making Spider-Man have more realistic proportions like him being more slim like a young high schooler or a decently built man.

Plus his default outfit has him wearing sunglasses if you take them off he looks a lot more like DR1 Frank.
