Nice bike man. I had a similar set up with a built motor. It was a step down from the case induction. The police impounded it. But I beat the case and they still wouldn't return it to me.. so I sued got my money and went electric. Now I've got a 40+ mph bike that doesn't draw the attention for less than 1k

I will agree that there is really no call for negativity but, in answer to the question "Who cares how fast it goes?" When the title of the video is " I've created a MONSTER. LET'S SEE WHAT SHE'S GOT! " then, obviously, most anybody that clicks will be interested in speed. What else would a reasonably intelligent person expect? It is a beautiful bike and, while this builder may be primarily concerned with aesthetics or efficiency, a title like this will (whether intentional or not) specifically draw in people who are very interested in speed. That's exactly what "Let's see what she's got" means in the motor world. No offense to either you or the builder but the title is very misleading without speed/power info included. It is a great looking bike, though. Really, really nice job. Paint scheme is brilliant and I'm sure it's fairly quick. I'm envious.

Well, this is pretty awesome.... I wonder if one could couple two of these motors together. Maybe side by side with the drives connected to a jack shaft at top dead center. Make up a Y - intake manifold. Use one of those double brake lever setups for the clutches. The wheel sprocket and chain would have to be heavy duty. A lot of possibilities there... Maybe a front and rear motor setup, on a stretch frame; that might make coupling the motor drive sprockets a challenge though. The carbs would have to be synced too. In either case, an electric start would be a good Idea, pedaling a side by side setup would be impossible. The clutches would only be handling the output of a single motor, so that wouldn't be an issue. With the electric start and the power of the twin engine setup the pedals could go away. Rear mount a couple of foot pegs and fabricate some clip on bars. That'd be a hoot...

Cracks me up on how other commenters are comparing the noise to and saying that leaf blowers, Harleys and strereos are louder which, they might very well be. These comparisons have one thing in common though: They are all able to be legally operated. But on a bicycle that is only street legal if it's less than 5hp or 50cc in most states, a bike like this is sure to attract the attention of law enforcement. And once they examine it, the very least you'll get is a ticket. Could even have it impounded. Why invite trouble by having your bike shout ARREST ME to the world?? LoL

I think as these bikes become more popular they are sure to attract the attention of law enforcement! The more people ride them the more they will start enforcing the laws concerning them, that is for certain. A 66cc bike is already illegal where I live, they just don’t know or care at this point. Wait until someone wrecks into someone else or hits a person or they keep seeing more and more of them on the road or hearing more and more of them and I guarantee they will start enforcing the laws as well as making new laws just for them. Enjoy these bikes while you can.

One day, Dirty Steve decided to be a "Predator". He attacked her like a "Monster". She screamed like the clutch of a "Phatmoto". As the cops approached he wondered "Huasheng" (Who sang). They Said Better be ready!! (BBR). He took off on his bike like a "Cheetah". He was glad he only paid $700. He needed the get away money. But as he approached Southern California he was haulted. Turns out her dad was the leader of the "Zeda" maffia and they had more horse power then he could fight. He set out to be a "Flying Horse" turned out to be "Death Row".

running bikes this loud is going to be completely detrimental to the sport, it will bring the wrath of the public, cops and etc. laws legislation . . . .properly silenced two strokes sound helluva a lot better anyway, My credentials . . . . I was racing MX in 1972, I have seen alot of riding areas go the way of the dinosaur due to noise Rant over . . . . Sweet build

mark koehn i completely agree. I hate expansions chambers. I know they are a bolt on 1hp+ but i hate the tin ping noise. Alot of losers round here ride with no muffler or exhaust at all! Ill do a sleeper mod and be just as happy cruising in stealth.
@markkoehn6832
@markkoehn6832 6 жыл бұрын
expansion chambers are a key component of two stroke tuning, but at least throw a perforated core silencer on the end, reasons they call the end of expansion chambers a stinger . . . . it looks like it could sting ya and it definitely stings your ears. Early 2000s I had a KDX200, tried a FMF "Fatty" pipe, gave a torque boost down low but was quite a bit louder even with a silencer, turns out a stock KDX pipe is double walled, hence the reason FMF pipe was a "weight savings". I wrapped that stainless steel beauty with exhaust header wrap, bingo . . . . sounded nice, got rid of the bing ting and knocked off a bunch of decibles. Lots of street riders wrap pipes, kind of a old school hot rod look. Supposed to improve performance due to retaining the heat and creating better exhaust extraction . . . . . might look cool

@@fragotron the stereo systems in cars these daze are insanely loud and the bass is just cruel. Especially when you're trying to sleep and it's time for knuckleheads to make a beer run before the store stops selling! In the 70s & 80s I had decent stereo systems in my vehicles but the bass coming from these cars of today is a thick wall of sound that takes over your home until they buy alcohol and leave.

For $1100 that engine costs, you could buy and mount 5 212 predators and really go,go,go

hey this is indy, under a pseudonym i see what you mean about the tuning issues, i thought it was because of something wrong with the engine but i see what you meant now, it is tuned to perform at higher speed so slow idle is not really a thing unless you choke it, i get what you are saying now. i enjoyed the video, sounds awesome! i hear a lot of the chain case i think couple things could be changed, upgrade to a bigger pipe, the yz? 80 im curious what the top speed was, just to know. you got it fully broken in yet? whats the oil ratio you are using on this video? yea i saw that video of the inside of the engine a while ago, but i never knew how the intake worked, that is neat let me know what you think about that head and cdi, just want to hear your thoughts and what you think we should do if anything different, maybe different head and cdi

I would build a contraption with motor cycle wheels about as wide and long as a compact car that could peddled like a bike with a bicycle motor and a sail so you would have three sources of power peddle when parking lots motor on city streets and sail on Hwy

Either one. I like Metalic purple. If anything there is a metal flake blue that comes in a can that is a royal blue to colbalt blue shift.

You should have continued on with showing us that Dyno, and how much more power or less power will be had with rejetting like the fella in the video suggested. . I'm a car guy so I can appreciate the small engines on the bike I don't have a license and this will be my only means of a transportation, so fuel economy, power, and speed all become key and we cannot forget reliability. I recently just I have recently just got into bikes with engines. I'll be riding it in Calgary Alberta Canada so how do these preform in colder weather??? as it is now I ride my mountain bike 365 so this will make my life that much more enjoyable as I'm no longer confined to my rual area in small town Canada. I would like to see what products and and suppliers to avoid and which to look at a lot better away I'm not sure who to buy from me to buy my engine from hou to buy my upgrade parts from or can I buy an engine that's already done up the best that it can be done at a very reasonable price. I'm hoping you can answer some of these questions and I look forward to your response thanks for your time keep recording those videos 🤯🤕

You're cool man but if that's what it sounds like to get 5 horsepower I'll walk. You can take the stock gt5 and use the racing carb with two cables, cut the exhaust at the weld and it will keep up with that thing with east but you have the option of pulling the choke cable and letting off the throttle and it goes dead silent and coasts, soon as the coast is clear you just let off the lever a little bit, (to your liking) and give it gas and it snaps back to life instantly and pulls way harder than your cnc engine man. I know I've told you this before but I can tell you have not bothered to try it otherwise you would see no reason to have a big ass pipe that shines like the sun and is so damn loud when you could simply break the stock pipe off and get everything that pipe offers and more. So as usual I'm just talking to myself I guess. Now that block is without a doubt very pretty but it needs a proper cylinder and some nitro tainted fuel to really enjoy it. I have had so many of those engines I lost track long ago but now I have a italian mopen 50 cc engine that pulls 10,000 rpm and is silent as snowfall. With about a shot glass per tank of 20% nitro it goes plenty fast enough and I really have never topped it out but it goes 50 with ease and with the way I set everything up it will coast for miles. There just does not seem to be a way to beat a thick cast iron jug so far as I can tell because I've tried it all and I'm a real motorcycle mechanic who has owned all the baddest bikes on the planet and I know how to make a 2 stroke do what I want but my little moped engine smokes everything you can do to one of these china girls and it does so without a sound. I ride past cops 3 feet from their door when they have their cars off and the windows down in the summer and I just let off the gas as I get close and pedal by them and they have never known I even had an engine in it as one of them told he after he pulled me over for no lights at night. He was telling me all the ways he could cite me until he got a nice look at the engine and the way it works and he just smiled and asked me if I wanted him to take it to my house or to his house...(I was obviously not going home since I had an old ticket I had to deal with the hard way). He asked me why I would go through so much trouble for a piece of junk that couldn't possibly do more than 27 miles per hour and I just smiled and gave him a look to say.."off record anytime you want to race dude" There is absolutely no reason to have such a loud and obnoxious sound to something that goes so damn slow and something that goes all over at all times of the night and day. A loud two stroke is supposed to scare all your senses, otherwise it's a joke. Nobody wants to hear a mean sounding two stroke coming in the distance like that part of the holy grail movie where the gaurds fall asleep waiting for the coward to run them through with the sword from the forest. When I hear a nice two stroke all revved up it makes my heart beat faster but if it doesn't get here soon and blow by me like lightning,,,,then it's just a Hardley a wannabee(davidson) and should be neutered and muzzled. My favorite thing to do is to tail one of these rich dudes that has an ebike that does about 50 down the bike trails and then when he looks back and realizes that I'm just pedalling and keeping up with him, or at least that is what it looks like since the bike can't be heard,,,then I blow past him and stop pedalling for a moment. That guy is so used to smoking all the chinese engine bikes that he did not how to control his emotions when he realized how small my engine is, and how it goes against everything they think about two strokes that they hate. My bike doesn't smoke, it doesn't leak gas all over my pants making me like a lantern wick, it's quieter than many electric bikes out there and I have the most comfortable seat with the perfect seating position that just looking at it makes people smile. Everyone smiles when they realize it has an engine, but when they learn it's running,, they want one now, not so with most people with that 70's sounding dirt bike of yours man. Transverse expansion chamber exhaust hole is the first thing you need for that thing if you're going to have a pipe that's all wrong for the engine. I suggest you look into the first honda 125 gp racers pipes to see what the proper pipe should be designed like, the one you have is all wrong and is for supercross which your engine can't do with only 8k rpm's. Peace Sizz

Hey Alex I have a question for you do you know what bicycle frame the 212 death row engine fits into is it the Kahlua or is it some other bike frame that I can buy rather cheaply cuz I can't afford the bike frames at gas bike or at bikeberry so I'm trying to find a bike frame that I can reasonably afford that will fit the 212 either death row engine or the 212 standard from Harbor Freight if anyone can give me an answer to this it would be grateful it helpful
