We need a Disney Date Night videos! This restaurant could be a more elegant date night, but seeing different ideas for different budgets would be cute!

Yes!!! I have been thinking the same thing. I loved when Quincy and Breedlove did their fine dining experience and would love to see this duo again!!!

We ate there in September. Amazing. Worth every penny and we'll definitely do it again. My GF had the plant based menu and she could not have been happier. We also did the sake pairings. We had a 7:30 reservation and were basically the last people in EPCOT walking out at 10:30. We didn't want to be "those people" lingering in the park after closing, but it was a pretty amazing experience. Totally worth the money....for the right customer.

Thank you for doing a refresher. It's Super timely too. The Mrs and I are booked for New Year’s Eve.

I loved this review. After going to Epcot dozens of times, I had no idea this restaurant existed. I'm coming in from Denver this weekend and thinking this may be the place I need to have dinner.

We ate here for my 35th birthday and it was absolutely one of the best meals of my entire life. I wouldn’t do it every year, but definitely worth it for special occasions!

Its never a place I would go to but I love seeing the reviews. Thanks Q.

They would be smart to allow hotel guests to dine ‘last minute’ at select restaurants like this without a park ticket.

The restaurant looks like it has such a calming and relaxing atmosphere. I’m not a big sushi person, but the food looks delicious. I do agree that this is more of a special occasion restaurant. I’d like to eat here at least once on a future trip. Great review!

How can they justify $250 for the plant based menu? None of the ingredients have the same costs as high grade fish which would call for the high price. That’s insanity!
@andnear0U812Ай бұрын
It is a 88 dollar potato 39 dollar carrot ect ect

After watching this. I feel like this is final boss type of territory in the Japanese eating space. If not in terms of Disney parks, then stateside eating in a Japanese restaurant environment.

$250 per person? For a meal? No way!!! In the immortal words of Homer J. Simpson: "So, I says, blue M&M, red M&M, they all wind up the same color in the end!"

I think it might have just been really good matcha. I tried making some in a blender, and it was still powdery. (That’s gotta be faster than her hand)

That price is not out of line for an upscale Omakase menu,

It's funny there's way less crying about this than Cake Bake from Disney fans but this is more expensive
@jennycox446315 күн бұрын
I think the difference is at least in part because of what you get for the money. I believe the complaints about Cake Bake have died down a little since it opened and demonstrated that it’s a large quantity of quality food for the money. But it’s still the kind of food you can get in a lot of places, and the atmosphere might be excellent but it’s not such an immersive experience. Whereas Takumi Tei is very rare in the US, and it sounds like it is more immersive. Of course there may also be biases around Cake Bake, but I think there are some valid reasons for that difference.

Quincy was in the room by herself, but she came outside to talk to not interrupt the quiet?
@jeaninekivimaki5593Ай бұрын
She probably didn’t know if others would be seated, and I’m guessing wanted to just enjoy the $250 experience without having to give tasting notes as she went.

Thanks for taking me to dinner, Quincy. But I'm not a big fan of Sea Urchin.

I am used to fine dining and normally wouldn't bat an eye at that price, however, I'm not a fan of cooked seafood so raw, nope. I do like exotic and different foods, but just not sushi so I won't be going there. It did look like a great experience though.
