I mean a lot of that is just because they are the first to play the roles. Christopher Reeve for instance was iconic as Superman but I'd say Cavill is better even if comic fans hate new superman. The casting has definitely been great for most of the MCU roles though. DC need to up their game 🤷‍♂️
