Watched your videos and am confident for my test as I pay more attention to the road signs and markings even when I am not in the drivers seat. Thanks for these videos, they help me generally know what to do in certain situations.

@@ClearviewDrivingyeah there is a lot you can learn before driving. When I grew up my mum would write down say the directions for how to get somewhere on holiday and she would get me and brother to look for the signs or the roads needed this was before sat navs existed. So an extra pair of eyes helped plus it was preparing us on how to drive even before lesson

I think you forgot to add this as a minor that when Harish moves off, he signals first, before checking if a car is coming from behind. You should check mirrors first, then signal and move when the road is clear.

Oh Harrish, I'm glad your Test is a few months away, there's work to be done! When you're turning left off a main road into a side road it's quite a surprise to find a car coming toward where you thought you might be driving. I have a friend who makes special occasion cakes, She had an emergency and asked me to deliver a cake also a neighbour had asked me to get them a couple of bottles of decent Sherry. There's me with all this cargo in the boot and a car suddenly pops out where I'm about to pop in, I had to slam my brakes on and there was this very unsettling thud and clatter in the boot, thankfully all survived.

Hey Aman (hope thats how your name is written), brazilian here, ive been watching you for a week or so, and just passing to say thank you actually. Brazilian driving school is very similar to english Id say, so its been really helpful for me seeing another instructor/country perspective about traffic and driving, learning a lot for sure.

I think I learnt 2 things from here, as an under-1-year Driver myself. After his red light junction pause thing, you did a U-Turn after an island, and I thought that was not allowed at such places. Then there's lanes that suddenly begin in the *centre* of a Roundabout, so even if you start hugging the centre island of the roundabout, you'll have to suddenly change lane inward to re-hug the centre island - I didn't know lanes could sprout from there! (Nothing like that here in Devon that I've seen so far!).

10 years of driving in India and it's habits must be hard to break, no multi tone horns to help, I think you may have started to chew your nails😅 Harrish will make it but hopefully carry on learning after. I wonder if using a left hand drive vehicle would help, it would definitely make the driving different and retrain muscle memory.

@@brianuuuSonicReborn yes, and you didn’t understand what he meant. Harish’s muscle memory is not letting him understand UK driving rules. So, driving a Left hand drive vehicle will “retrain” Harish’s muscle memory and learn better. Hope you understand this time.

As your lane discipline is so poor on roundabouts you are making it 100 times harder. It's fine straight lining the roundabout at 3 o'clock in the morning with 0 traffic around but not on test or with others around you. Don't worry I seen someone worse than you yesterday . Left lane to go straight put a right signal on and had left the roundabout and stopped to do a U turn back onto the roundabout to take the next exit or go further around. They had left the roundabout all they had to do was cancel their signal go to the next roundabout spin around and come back and they had a full licence.

I totally understand why he is unable to follow the lanes if he is a new driver outside of India. India has so many 2, 3 wheelers, trucks and illiterate taxi drivers running around in a haphazard manner that Indian brains are tuned to avoid them rather than follow the lane discipline. The lanes are THERE but no one gives a damn because they can't. Years of driving in this circumstance and the lanes become invisible to the brain. It's nothing that a few hours of practice can't fix. Apart from that the only thing he did not do right was the coasting part, this is bad practice. I think people do this to avoid a possible stall more than anything else.

His roundabout work needs a lot of work. He keeps being in the wrong lane, unnecessarily and unsafely moving within the roundabout and then exits in the "wrong" lane only to end up having to move over to the correct lane afterwards. So much of his roundabout issues would be solved if he simply entered in the correct lane to begin with.

Depends on your budget, remember the cost of everything, insurance included. Look at the condition of the car, what tyres does it have (good tyres can help indicate it's been looked after). Has it got full service history or at least a good amount for the last 5 years. Do the brake discs look good etc. So many factors. Make sure to get breakdown cover within your insurance, can give a little peace of mind. But overall, regardless of what car you get it all depends on you, drive safely.

Ok, this learner's has a lot to improve on. I'm not gonna lie. His driving was not good from the start. His lane changing and right turns were incredibly dangerous on all levels. He's been driving in India for 10 years, and yet he brings that level of driving to the UK. Absolutely unacceptable standard of driving. Really not good at all.
