This composition is usually taken at a slow to moderate tempo but in Monty's hands, it burns and his partners (Wright on bass and Durham on drums) are with him all the way. Superb!

One of Monty's greatest trios and they never could resist playing a ballad at breakneck tempo after fooling you with a lyrical, relaxed intro. But they had the technique and cojones to make it work.
