Great job Sara. You may want to try the iron on hem tape. It works wonders even on heavier fabrics. I'm impressed that someone your age knows about cooking and seasoning food. Younger people want to drive thru or order out for meals. Your dinners always look delicious and I wish we had smellovision.😋

As an older lady my only advice would be this when sewing your iron is your friend. Press everything flat and it also helps to press a seam allowance prior to fixing it either with hem tape, sewing or even hot glue. You did a great job- really like the fabric.

One bit of advice you might thank me for later, thrift you a pair of fabric scissors. Life changing! I never owned any until my mom gave me her sewing kit a few years back. I wish someone would have shared that info. with me 25 years ago! 😂 But your project turned out beautiful, regardless! Toile is classic and pretty, a great choice!

I think the topper is so cute. You can use the adhesive hem tape, just like the hot glue with a iron. Its permanent, even thru washes. The garland, I think, just needs some brown sprayed lightly over the garland. You did great with both projects. Great video, Sara. ❤😊

Sara you did an awesome job on the table topper. Next time you are at Walmart grab some fusible hemming tape. Very easy to use and you will have it on hand if you decide to make a topper for after Christmas. Good job.

Sara, I have some pillow covers from temu, and I have used them for two years . They get weather on them, and they have done really well. Your Christmas ones should be OK on your porch. They were so cute.

I love temu, we must have kinda the same taste. I've got the rocking horse, and the real touch Christmas tree, I think its great quality. You did a fantastic job on the table cover. I suggest maybe a pillow cover or two would make it look more cohesive as well. You definitely look like you were having fun....

Good morning sweet friend!😊 Loll i have a king size feather pillow i sleep on, its a struggle getting it into most pillowcases, it wants to squish down or double over! And I'm short & have short arms so that doesn't help!🥴 Aww the little sifter is really cute with the tree! I used to have that same set of salt & pepper shakers when my son was young, i have no clue what happened to them!🤷‍♀️ Arthur is so funny.. he reminds me so much of the cat i had when we were in TN. She was a huge, fluffy Calico. She had to sit on everything that was brought in the door! She was so nosey & i guess that was here way of cking things out.🤷‍♀️loll The Temu tree does look really nice! I like that! The garland isn't bad either tho! Ohhh i love the rocking horse, super cute! I've looked for A little wooden rocking horse for quite awhile! I'm pretty sure I'll have to ck Temu out!😁 I'll just wax it with antiquing wax & make it look old! I'm loving the toile patterned overlay! It looks sooo pretty!💙 You did good girl! Don't feel bad, i don't do the seeing thing either!😄 And that's kind of weird because my mom & my grandma were both big sewers, like they made clothes all the time. My mom would make them for herself & my sister & I. My grandma, on dads side so not the one i lived with with the huge farm, made her dresses, my aunts & for me & my cousin, we're the only girls. Mama passed me her green thumb & love for flowers, but not her sewing thumb & love for sewing!😄 I used to crosstitch, that about it! But does that count?😁 Ooo the piano looks pretty, i like the star garland! Can't wait for as good close up! I enjoyed the video! I pray you have a safe & fun trip to your parents.
