Hi! please could you explain how can you change the rear rotor for a TRP? because I understand that the magnet that the Shimano rotors have is mandatory for the motor to work, thanks!

Took it out and zap strapped it in place on the TRP rotor… Not pretty but it works…

It’s the normal fork but added a volume token the turn up the progression in the air spring.

i just did this with my stumpy evo, went from the rhythm fork and a shock with just hsr to a factory 38 and 2024 x2. so much more capable!

why not coil? i believe fox x2 is well known for its recall....unless you're a qualified suspension tech or someone who knows air shock rebuild

Yeah I really want to try a coil, especialy on this bike! They're sold out everywhere in the size I need. the 2024 X2 is all new on the inside so I hope it wont have the same issues.

Not a necessity at all… the performance works and feels very close but the grip 2 and kashima make a big difference on the small bump compliance.

The Kashima coating is adding zero feel on the trail 😂. Placebo effect at best.

Don't want to be too mean, but really? You wasted so much money on that suspension. You could have just upgraded the air spring for more or less travel on the fork and the shock is exactly the same. You can't tell me the Kashima makes that much difference. Especially not on an Ebike! The damper will make a big difference, but that can also be bought aftermarket. Overall a waste of money, but at least you are putting money into the bike shops and putting food on the table for them.

Like I said in the video... I've never splurged for factory suspension before and after hitting 100K subscribers I thought I'd treat myself. plus ill be using the performance shock and fork on another bike build I'm working on. There is a method to my madness...
