Rice with Creole chicken

✔️ 3 sausages
✔️ 3 boneless chicken thighs
✔️ 600 g (1 lb 5 oz) fresh shrimp
✔️ 400 g (14 oz) chopped tomatoes
✔️ 1 onion
✔️ 1 sweet green pepper
✔️ 2 stalks of celery
✔️ olive oil
✔️ salt
✔️ black pepper
✔️ 600 ml (1 pint) chicken broth
✔️ 2 bay leaves
✔️ 5 cloves of garlic
✔️ 1/2 tsp thyme
✔️ 1/2 tsp oregano
✔️ 1/4 tsp chili
✔️ 1/2 tsp basil
✔️ 2 tsp paprika
✔️ 1/2 tsp dried garlic
✔️ 2 sprigs of green onions
