I’m 54 and have supported and heard/watched many a game ( in the 80’s in Sydney there was only 1 game televised, the others would be heard on radio ). I‘ve been privileged to have watched whom I consider the best in the modern era in Lewis, Lockyer, John’s and Thurston. I will back the captains words that Nathan is doing now what the mentioned took years to develop. The great modern game of the NRL. I’m a proud QLD’er but I can do nothing but bow my head and just hope he ( Nathan ) doesn’t start his own dynasty in Origin. Greatest team of the modern era bar none.

Nathan Cleary in that back end of the game was just on another planet. 24-8 up the Broncos and then Clearly stood up. Awesome game of Footy though from both sides but man clearly what a player. Personally I couldn’t believe what I was watching.

It could also be said that Ezra Mam had the Churchill medal in the bag with his performance, but that was surpassed by what Cleary did afterwards. I appreciate some of the honesty shown by the Penrith coach and players who acknowledged how hard the game was for them to win and what players gave them grief.

The first 40 minutes Panthers were all over them, Broncos defended well, but made 11 mistakes. Panthers made one mistake all game. The Broncs were good for the first 20 of the second half; because of their effort to keep the Panthers out in the first 40, they runout of juice at the very end.

I loved the 2015 grand final. As a Parra fan i just wanted a great game. Wow. To witness greatness of that level is pretty special. Cleary is a freak. But watching Walsh is awesome too.
