RGH3 is only 2 wires permanently once the Nand Flasher is unhooked, no mod chip required. Aurora you have to open the menu and tell it where you have the content stored at.

a good way to test if a console has been modded without having to disassemble it, its to turn it on using the eject button, RGH and JTAGed consoles will boot into a Linux loader Called Xell.

That RGH'ed console has an old Matrix glitch chip. Note that glitch chips are no longer needed thanks to RGH3. All you need is 2 wires and a resistor, and it's super easy now.

It’s very easy to fix the disk drive not opening. Disassemble the OG Xbox remove the disk drive. Open it and remove the rubber band on the gears get a cup of water let it boil in a microwave for two minutes let it sit for a couple minutes after you take it out of the water. Then you can put the rubber band back on the gears and reinstall the the disk drive and reassemble the console

Right this second, I am watching South Park on Xbox 360 as a media extender for a windows 7 PC running windows media center with a Centon CableCard tuner. I have 5 360s throughout the house plus the PC, all with media center IR remotes for 6-tuner dvr in 6 rooms including the garage! 🙂

That original Xbox may have a Thompson disc drive in it. Mine is from the same year & it has it. Those are known for their high failure rate. Mine has one & it's very picky. Sometimes it'll work & other times it won't. I can play it for a week straight then it tells me to go fly a kite for a couple of months. Eventually it'll start working again after a certain amount of time passes. It probably costs less to buy another console but I paid $5 for it. I heard the disc drives are interchangeable with the OG Xbox. With the price I paid for my console & the cost of a disc drive. I'd probably still save some money by just swapping out the disc drive.

It was a rentacenter slim with built in wifi, Ill never forget learning my mom paid almost double market price over the years I've had it (we were poor af so interests and late fees were a bitch) Kept it and used it well into my days of owning a Xbox one, this was when their compatability was still adding games. Sadly left it at an old house and lost the hard drive with all my memories.. Now I own a series S, ps5 and a slowly upgraded PC (3060 and soon a new cpu and I'll never upgrade it again yay) and only paying a mortgage and a temperpedic because working in a plant makes 24 feel like 42
