One thing I never quite understood about the military. When I was in the Navy, we would pull duty in combat zones. High stress, crazy long hours, sleep deprived for months on end. Tour is over and we head back home. Only we ain't making a bee line at high speed. We take it slow. And we pull into a tourist port for at least a week (if not two) of R&R. In short we have time to decompress and unwind. The army and marines, they back home on the next flight. No pit stops. Today they were in a combat zone getting shot at. Tomorrow they waking up next to the wife and going straight into dealing with family matters that have been neglected since they deployed and never having time to process what they just went through. Same goes with the air force. And people wonder why so many marines and soldiers end up with PTSD, divorces, and alcoholism.

Oddly a guy told me he aimed for center of pelvic region when fighting people in armor. It has two major arteries and a lot of major organs. Without immediate medical attention the individual will bleed out. Dude also said he watched a foreign fighter take two 5.556 to the vest and keep shooting at them(determined he was high on poppy's) wasn't until someone opened his throat bone with a .308 he stopped. 2 inch's is well within the human head space aswell i guess
