I wonder what the mAH or Amp HR capacity is for the reserve battery. That is a huge factor because you might need several days in direct sunlight for it to charge from the sun. If the reserve battery was flat and you were starting with just sunlight, I wonder what it could do output wise?

Here's one of the review from Amazon This very expensive item lasted just over one year with only light duty and regular charging. IT DOES NOT HAVE A REPLACEABLE BATTERY. When I contacted Renogy customer service they said it was out of Warranty and it was "Not Serviceable". What a joke! You must throw it away when the battery goes dead. The battery pack looks like a bunch of smartphone batteries stacked together and shrink wrapped. Poor Design. Could have been great!

I have one, and I love it. Now there are some drawbacks, but for what it is, it's not bad. I recommend that you charge it of the wall to full before you use the solar panels, and you need to use it, and charge it often. I have used it while camping in the high deserts of the south west, and in the pine barrens of east Texas. It works really well, but if you fail to charge it before you head out, the batteries might not have that great of a charge in them to start with. The solar panels are good, but DO NOT rely on them exclusively. They will take around 7 to 13 hours of to charge the unit to full capacity. Also as I said the unit must be charged, and discharged often to maintain the life of the unit it's self.

I know little about solar power but I bought a power bank a bit bigger than my phone with a solar panel on it and.. well, put it this way, when it was flat I left it in a sunny window for 2-3 days and it didn't charge up enough to even register. I suspect these things are better in theory than in practice.
