You're a wonderful mom. Your kiddos are adorable. Stop being so hard on yourself. Life doesn't have to be perfect all the time. I'm a mom of two teens. Being a mom is hard but they turned out ok. Adore them, so blessed. Just do the best you can, which you are and make time for yourself. Love watching your adorable young family all the way in Cape Town South Africa. Just looking at how cute Emmy is and how cute she sounds and how Okley smiles at you - beautiful kids like their parents. You know by that, that you're doing a great job and being a loving mom. Love your channel. Keep smiling💕🤗

I just wanted to sincerely thank you for being so open and honest about the not so "pretty" aspects of your life. It is so easy, as a viewer, to watch videos and think "Wow these mommies really have it all together!" As a mommy who suffers from anxiety and depression, I absolutely appreciate it when I see a video like this one. It makes you more "real". 💕

Thank you SO much for opening up about your recent struggles. I just saw my doctor yesterday and I am currently experiencing PPD & PPA. I totally understand what you’ve been going thru! My youngest is almost 6 months and my oldest is 4. I didn’t experience this the first time around. This is new to me. I’m glad you went to your dr! We will get thru this, Mama! 💜

Thank you for your honesty. It's not misery loves company, but it's you are not alone. Having 2 small babies is a wonderful, beautiful thing but it is also so challenging. I am experiencing these emotions, as well. I think that we have to be honest but also kind with ourselves. I am right here with you. Please take care of yourself but know that you are an inspiration. I needed this video today, truly. I am sending positive vibes your way, please do the same. Life's hard, being a woman is hard." Amen! You got this, Allie. We got this. "💜💜💜💜

Oh girl... I understand fully, being a mom of 3 boys & feeling super overwhelmed/overworked, but never neglect that thyroid medicine. I have hagimotos thyroiditis and I’d say it’s 99.9% due to your thyroid disfunction. Your thyroid controls WAY more of your hormones and bodily functions than most people realize. You’re doing a great job, momma. Keep it up!

I so appreciated the end of this video. I needed to hear this so badly right now. i’ve been struggling the last couple of weeks with my 4 month old (the lack of sleep is starting to really kick in!) and it was so nice to be reminded that it’s ok not to be ok sometimes and that it’s totally normal. I applaud you for being an advocate, especially for yourself, because I often find myself struggling thinking, “doesn’t anyone notice?!”. rather than suffering in silence it’s good to be reminded that I can/should stand up for myself and make time to make sure that i’m taken care of, too, not just the family. sending lots of love & well wishes to you! 💜

Hey Allie ! I’m 26 from Wisconsin and I found you on here a month or so ago , I’m not big in the online world , but when I do laundry or clean I love to watch your videos, and really only a few couple other girls I follow ,, so you are def one of my favorites :). I like watching you because you motivate my cleaning techniques , ...your a mama and I’m a mama in way too (I’ve been raising my fiancé’s two boys for the last 5 1/2 years we have been together) so I can jump on board with you and the running , cooking , cleaning, mom anxiety thing and it feels good to watch people that inspire us to be better in our own routine like you do for me and others .. I get anxiety and stress trying to be my best at it right now,AND knowing i will be married next summer and want more kids of my own right away makes me turn to ladies like you that inspire me to keep getting stronger and better in all I try to do ,while still being my own . . Your clip before signing off on you not being ok had me wanting to tell you that your not alone... trying to be a mom to two young boys, who don’t have their real mom around ever , and me never having any experience of my own yet ,got my anxiety up real quick when moving in with my fiancé when I did at age 21. I grew up real quick and have had many emotional days since ..I know how your feeling and you saying some of things you did I 100percent got right away ,made me feel better knowing IM not alone and other strong ladies that inspire me can feel those ways too. Love you lots ❤️

I have hypothyroidism also and it can definitely effect your feelings as well as your female hormones! Make sure your taking Vit D also or talk to your doctor about it. I also suffer from depression and that really made a difference-getting my vit d levels up. I take 2000-5000 in daily! They think vit d is a hormone now. Talk to your doctor about it! And give your thyroid time to get balanced also. ❤️ It sucks to feel bad emotionally! You’re a great mom! Don’t doubt it!

Makes perfect sense whether thyroid related or otherwise. I hear ya! I literally was feeling the same way, got thyroid tested on Monday, as I had issues during pregnancy, and boom, that was it. It is crazy how it really affected my whole being. And yes, it helps me to know I'm not alone🌺

Shave Irish spring soap and place the shavings on the soil and you can even hang chunks on the fence. Somehow the smell of the soap is repulsive to them 😊 the soap is literally a dollar in the dollar store and it truly works even for deer. 😌

Idk how you could open up like that without crying, you are so so strong...I WAS CRYING FOR YOU 😭 I dealt with PPD after my 1st born and now I'm about to have my 2nd in 2 months and I'm so scared to go through those dark emotions again 😩 If it happens though I'm glad that I know I'm not alone and having gone through it before I think I can recognize the symptoms earlier and get help sooner 🙏

Yes yes yes. I love the reality you show in your videos. Days can be great AND stressful. You can be grateful for your blessings but still not feel “quite right”. You’re setting such a wonderful example for women and families in general. Not everything can be cookie cutter perfect all the time and that’s okay, just because it’s not perfect doesn’t mean it still can’t be great. Thank you so much for voicing that message!

Thank u so much 4 speaking about realness! I must admit i feel like a slob at times because alot of the youtube moms seem to have it all handled and clean with their hair down, dressed up and im like, get my hair out my face, put leggings on and some nike free runs to not let my feet hurt, why put make up all the time, if im just gonna sweat it out...i have 3 little bys under 10 and boy, is it crazy. I also get frustrated and not handle things the best way and feel so bad but it is part of parenting and its awesome u shared...its like a fresh breath honestly!!! Thank u! Sending u mom power dude..lol thanks alot for the inspiration!

Hey for the rabbits I think you need to do more wires at the top too instead of a chicken fence at the bottom. Because rabbits can jump quite high so I’m guessing they’re jumping through that big gap at the top!

Emerson has such beautiful hair! Electric fence around your garden is still good, it'll keep anything bigger than rabbits, out. Still keep the fence, but definitely reinforce it with chicken wire.

You may want to put the chicken wire all the way up. The bunnies may try to jump over it if it's too short, and they may get stuck in the top of the fence 😒

I have been through so much up and down with my thyroid to not at least share with you to look into Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Ask your doctor if you can have your antibodies tested- it is an autoimmune disease. Your thyroid affects every part of you. Extreme fatigue, depression, anxiety, brain fog, weight LOSS (most people are overweight but I am underweight) are my main symptoms. The only thing that has helped is seeing a naturopathic doctor who is helping keep my thyroid antibodies under control through diet, mostly. Love that you are sharing your struggles with so many in the same boat. You're not alone!

Hey there Allie, we had 4 kids in 5 years and it. was. tough! There were various things that got me through. I think the hardest was the ppd after my first, and then our 4th almost not making it. Oh, and parenting does have hard days; none of us are or will ever be the perfect parent. The problem, I think, is if we quit trying - keep going Allie!! I am praying for you!!

I’ve been dealing with some very bad anxiety. Friday evening my husband and I went to Walmart, I needed to pick up some cat food while he went to automotives to get some stuff for the car. I was okay until a man started cursing at his wife, telling her mean things and you could seek her flinch at each insult. They finally walk away and another family walks around the corner and the mom is telling the kid something horrible. He took off crying and she stood there laughing. The more I could feel others pain and anguish, the more I started to feel chaotic. I grabbed my cell phone out of my pocket and found an aisle no one was in and called my husband, sobbing, asking him where he was. He found me huddled into myself, he helped me breathe. He told me I need to get help and good help, not just some quack whose going to medicate me more than I already am. I just cannot afford to talk to someone. I also deal with severe depression, I’m in a major rut right now. Thank you for sharing that you’re struggling too, I don’t feel so alone. I hope yours gets better soon!

Yes, talk more about the real struggles, even tho im a very kind hearted person, somehow I feel like I totally "failed" at being a mom, im a mom of 2, with 2 Dif dads, and none of my children living with me, divorced, and somehow I thought that rebuilding myself, by going to school and being more qualified, getting a better job, I would manifest a "perfect family "....that I would have more value, i absolutely loving my dream career that I worked hard to get, but still I feel sour feeling inside, I can't eat, im not really well, ....im subscribed to a few channels of moms , and I try to learn and analyse how to be at home ,married, mommying. The fact that you share that everything isn't perfect is really what I need to hear sometimes. The more you will share how hard it is, the more ill be watching, so don't be shy to talk about it.

Dear Allie, I'm watching you from France so sorry for my English if it's not perfect. Thank you for being honest on your emotional state. I'm dealing with a depression for several months and I know what you're talking about when you say you don't recognize yourself but I would like to tell you that it will come to an end one day. Take this moment like a test to teach you something on your personality and to identify what you want or don't want in life. It's a time for you to reconnect with you body and your soul. Sometimes you'll have perfect days and other days, it will be harsh but this is life. Accept it, let emotions comes even if it hurts and then one day, you'll no more suffer from them, from anxiety or from the mess your head can be in "storm times". Take care of yourself. I send you my thoughts from the other side of Atlantic Ocean

I have a deficiency of protein C in my blood, my father has been prescribed bloodthinners FOR LIFE. Therefore, any type of contraceptive that might cause “blood clots” I am forbidden 🚫 to take. I almost lost my life to blood clots in Spring 2016. I am allergic to the IUD (all forms). My cycle, for at least 3 solid days is very painful and emotional to the point of being debilitating. You are not alone♥️, we women do our best. Cheers and hot tea ☕️

I’ve been there mama, just now getting my kids back on a good schedule instead of just being constantly on the go which pushes them to their brink...

Oh my gosh show me how to use the wand. I’ve heard people are loving it. I have short thin hair tho but I’m wondering if it would help give me some volume - I know the exhaustion. I have hashimotos and I’m already up to 175mg and still going up. Hoping my next draw is better but it may not be depression and more thyroid related. I have it also Also I just went off my progesterone birth control and that highly effected my mood. I feel a weight lifted off me. Crying less! Insane how hormones effect us.
