i dont know why its taken me this long to notice it but the way Ei walks down from the platform on the electro air-steps thing in the same exact way that Kiana always did as the Herrscher of Void in Honkai Impact 3rd is actually _very_ interesting.

The Unknown God in the intro sequence (who in the JP dub IS voiced by Kiana/HoV, Rie Kugimiya) air-steps in the same way (well, she takes just A single air-step).

@@UberWraith yeah, its just really interesting to see someone who isnt Kiana, especially (M)Ei of all people, doing it. i guess with hindsight it could have been more foreshadowing that Ei wasn't the one "at the wheel" in the scene, in a similar sense to how in the Befall cinematic it was Sirin in control of Kiana's body.

I just realized that Raiden Shogun is programmed to eliminate after a "fair" duel only, thats why she brought traveler to Plane of Euthymia to "observe" them while actually just fulfilling her algorithm

Experiencing this archon quest again and seeing how much potential the first 2 acts had makes me so sad that they dropped the ball at the end in several aspects, like the influence of the resistance force. Its like they dont even exist towards the end

One good thing coming out of all this was their decision to prolong Archon Quests to three patches instead of two in Sumeru and Fontaine, to properly develop the story.

Best part about playing this quest in 1.0 was that you could legit believe Thoma would lose his vision. There was no announcement that he'd be playable and the entire time we spent with him could be seen as the writers trying to make us like him just to pull the rug from under us

I actually really prefer not teleporting in the main quest. It is a flee after all. You don't need to explore anything you just show fleeing route and the change of scenery along the way.

i quit the game for half a year right around this part in the main story (like, beginning of the video, not end of the video) - because i felt it was too difficult. then after half a year i came back cause i really enjoyed exploration and puzzle solving in this game and i had friends build teams for me so that i could enjoy the game with less combat in it (more strength equals less combat?? if that makes sense?)

It is a lot quicker doing reputation bounties now that you don't have to actually do tracking but I actually kind of miss it and I have appreciated on my second account having to track again in Mondstadt 😂 It was a fun little bit of immersion and since you're only doing three bounties a week It wasn't too much busy work for me.
