@benjaminanderson6016
@benjaminanderson6016 2 жыл бұрын
I disagree. Just as someone is or isn’t a hall of famer, some people in the HOF deserve to be inner circle members. Ted Williams, Ruth, etc are freaks among freaks, if that makes sense. Making it to the MLB doesn’t mean that you should be treated the same as Juan Soto or Kershaw, who are more distinguished than the average player in the MLB. In both cases, however, ANYONE who makes it to the MLB or HOF deserves massive respect, just some more than others.

I’d love to see that or a Dave Parker, Dale Murphy, Lou Whittaker or Thurman Munson
@croke835
@croke835 2 жыл бұрын
@@denistuohy2535 I think Thurman is probably not in because he just didn’t play enough, but a 7 time all star, 3 time gold glove winner and an MVP in 11 years to go with 2 World Series rings should be in

@@croke835 yeah my rationale is, he died in plane crash while he was in the prime of his career, he was clearly on track to be in and there was a legitimate argument as to who was the best out of Fisk, Bench, and Munson while they were all playing.

Somewhere this almost became a Barry Larkin video. I am ashamed I underrated him so much! (Great video by the way, first time seeing this guy and almost exited the video but was funny/ridiculous at times but brought it all home with a real compelling argument that I thought was almost impossible at the beginning.)

What debate? Jeter is in the Hall of Fame. They didn't call him "Captain Clutch" for nothing. End of debate.

Remember when defensive metrics didn’t matter and weren’t reliable until Derek Jeter was a near unanimous HoF vote?

great video. I feel like this could be applied to alot of things in life. rather then trashing someone maybe the better thing to do is left other up who deserves it.
