Hall of Fame ought to mean 1. Total WAA, WAA/162 G 2. Historical relevance 3. Personal conduct

I don’t think ichiro is gonna be unanimous because he came so late if he never went to NPB and went to MLB instead he 100% gets in unanimous. I also think pujols doesn’t get unanimous just because of how BAD he was at the end if he was just average he also gets 100%

I love how people on the internet get mad at someone making a video that predicts how he thinks players will play. Somehow it ruins the sport and is an affront to God at the same time.

Bailey please do another video where you sit down with Strider, and NoMoreFielders and talk about your favorite albums from 2024- loved so many of the albums you guys recommended, (especially Strider's picks) and its made me super excited to try new music for the first time in a while.

I could see Brian McCann falling off the board completely in his first year, despite being a top 1-3 catcher almost an entire decade. Not only that, McCann grades out quite well with advanced defensive stats and even has a World Series ring. But with what Bailey mentioned (Posey, Yadi coming down the pipeline) plus his role in the Astros sign-stealing scandal, he could realistically be knocked off right away. Shame that's his legacy, oh well!

Foolish baseball, you got Lindor wrong again. The last two weeks, Lindor was hitting walk-offs. He carried the Mets. If it wasn't for his poor start of the season, he would have won the MVP.

In 2004 ichiro broke the single season hit record while playing half his games at safeco which is a hitters graveyard … he batted .400 on the road and had like 145 hits on the road in 81 games … just an insane season … imagine if he played his home games in a hitters park

There are plenty of players in the hall that were nice guys who are not in the hall. Shouldn't the vote be for what a player did on the field. Where is the MLB rule that says you have to be a nice guy to get into the Hall of Fame.

Relax people. Ichiro will not be 100% voter getter. There sports writers that are narcissistic who think they know more and better than the players. They work for news organizations that all but guaranteed Clinton and Harris winning the elections. In other words you have stupid and wrong people voting and controlling there votes.

Ichiro should be unanimous. I agree, he probably won't be, because the... uh... best and brightest and most worthy... eh... journalists... are uh.... very very discerning. But he should be especially if someone like Rivera is. Not saying Mariano Rivera shouldn't be unanimous, necessarily, but I'd think the main critique against him would be that he's a relief pitcher and didn't put up nearly as much value as starters, which is quite similar to Ichiro having less cumulative numbers due to when he came over to the US.
@NoahBodze-pm9ok7 күн бұрын
Manny, Ichiro and Pettit are the only names that stand out. You have to have been better than Albert Belle to be in the hall and none of the others are that.

If I was gonna vote for who got in then I'd vote for Buehrle, Manny, Ichiro, CC and Zobrist. Mainly because(in my opinion of course),they seem like the only ones worthy of going in this year. 🤷🏻♂️⚾

Video idea, rebuild the hall of fame from the ground up with your personal choices.
@Tristanisthebest7 күн бұрын
Im probably wrong for this. But I do enjoy the human element behind hall of fame candidacies on both ends. I do not mind baseball writers having the vote because at the end of the day someone needs to decide. The discussion created from what ifs and snubs is good for baseball discourse. Also, I very much enjoy the exclusivity of the baseball hall of fame.

Bailey, happy holidays I come here today to share with you and your fine community my one and only Christmas wish. I don’t often ask for much this time of year, so please take into consideration that I’ve been saving this wish up. Kind of like how Nate Pearson has been saving his breakout for the cubs in 2025. Alex Anthopoulos, what a name, what a man, what a brain. A.A. 🐐. Bailey how much more is there to share about the intricacies of baseball? My brain is so full of hardly useful baseball facts that my future wife will have no choice but to lobotomize herself to disassociate from my rambling. I believe your brain is far too big to be dwelling on the many eras of baseball, extremely interesting and my most anticipated youtube watches? of course. But Bailey, there are championships to be won, I have seen your work in OTPB, classy, to put it concisely. Canada deserves the next Alex Anthopoulos, Canada helped build THE one and only Alex Anthopoulos. A man you have had the pleasure of cheering for since 2017, the year the Rogers Centre turned cold. Bailey I think you are A.A2.0. Ross Atkins… YOU’REEEE OUT! Bailey, please, on behalf of all competent Blue Jay’s, for the love of all that is beautiful in this world, take the tiller and steer us clear of these icy, shallow, rocky waters. P.S. Bailey do you know the exchange rate from USD to CAD? $1 USD = $1.44 CAD. You could be a millionaire and not even know it yet. Royalty Bailey. Unfortunately the housing market in Toronto is higher than Steve Cohen was on the 8th but Gaus told me if you replace J.Schneider you can stay @ his place 🤷🏼♂️ Think about it Bailey, for me this is a win win. Either, Bailey, GM of the Blue Jays or I get to continue watching my favourite channel in youtube. Merry Christmas! Thank you for educating us everyday baseball stans!
