I had a day off from teaching so decided to head to a few of my favourite photography locations in Torridon & Applecross…..
I am a Professional Landscape Photographer based in the Highlands of Scotland. I specialise in the teaching of landscape photography and offers residential and daily photography workshops. I also sell prints of my own photographs from my own studio.

Forgive me I have only just found your Channel so I am catching up, Beautiful images from Torridon, super compositions, what a wonderful area to Photograph, my favourite image (all of them) just great Photography Dean, I go every year to Scotland and know the area fairly well but for the last couple of years I seem to get stuck on Skye and then run out of time, hopefully next year this location is on my list, Regards, Colin.

Hi Jacqueline….thank you for subscribing to my channel. It is much appreciated. The first half of the vlog was filmed on the single track road between Kinlochewe & Torridon village. The second half was filmed along the coastal route leading to Applecross village. I hope this helps. Dean

Hi…thank you for your kind words….The loch doesn't have a name but is between Kinlochewe & Torridon village. It is directly opposite the Beinn Eighe Car Park.

Great video, Dean, some beautiful locations and images. Just goes to show how subjective photography is...at 02:40 the distant peak with the summit shrouded in mist would have MADE the image for me 😀 Having seen this video appear as a suggestion on my home page, I have now subscribed.

Hi Stuart….thank you for subscribing, really appreciate it. I agree, the low cloud over the peak would've made a lovely shot. Unfortunately, time was against me, otherwise I would've spent more time at Loch Clair. But, I'm going back in a couple of weeks to hopefully capture a early wintry scene and photograph the peak….
