One of my favorite homes so far. Like the vibes of the area and spaciousness of the house. I'll have to remember this city

Very nice the sunlight flows well through the space, and it being elevated with a little cozy garden allows you to enjoy the outside section without having everyone "in your face". I always appreciate when these houses are a bit overgrown and there is greenery to work with because it's always better to have and remove than to not have anything at all. Direction of the house is cool as well giving you a very open view almost like a lookout point. Great find Sir.

こんにちは、柿生駅が最寄駅だと終点は新宿ですね。渋谷は下北沢駅で井の頭線に乗り換えが必要です。

This is a very pretty home. Looks like a good neighbourhood. Worth the money, for sure. No wonder it went under contract so quickly. Your homes are always interesting. Thanks❤

My wife and I really appreciate your videos and informaiton. Could you provide more info in the future as to the average costs of renovations. For instance what does a new kitchen cost, bathroom refresh, etc.

It appears to be in good condition for an akiya. Personally, my first question would be what year was it built. If it was built later than '82, I'd want to have the roof and foundation checked. If it all came back good, I'd offer $4K, as it needs to be landscaped, cleaned from top to bottom with a borax solution to kill off any mold that might be growing, and have the walls (not any of the wood) painted a very bright white to brighten it up a bit. Depending on the condition of the wood flooring, I would NOT replace it, but I might consider lightly sanding it and refinishing the flooring. I would never consider throwing out good hardwood floors, no matter how old they are (only if there was too much mold or water damage). I'd want more info on the age, the foundation, the roof, and the plumbing. I really like it, especially the possibility of the garden.

I actually like when it is on a concrete block. Reminds me of castle walls :D

It's a solid looking place that would be a great rental after renovation. Not far from the station. It looks like a real hodgepodge of homes on the hill. The flat area up top looks to be a bit more... affluent. The view of the other side from the top of the hill was surprisingly nice.

Every house I’ve seen so far with a “view” always seems to be “viewing” power lines. I’d really have to get used to that again.

I am glad to see that it is relatively simple to purchase homes as invenstments, rental properties, and vacation homes. However, I am much more interested in purchasing a home for myself to live in and am not looking to invest. I am finding that in America I will likely never be able to buy my own home for myself and my husband. As someone who once briefly lived in Mizonokuchi for school, I am very much interested in the possibility of returning more permanently. I would be interested in hearing more stories about foreigners who have made this dream come true, as it souinds like it is possible, but I don't see that story told a lot.

I saw the add for members only about the 50/50 rule you learned here. It's interesting that you just started investing here. I guess you were like too many Japanese (in my opinion)caught up with the West.

Ohaiyo Shu san, just a suggestion. Is it possible to have the Akiya location on Google Map? Being oversea, this allow us to view the surrounding and town on Google map.

do check the crime rate at that area
@Will-ky9hr14 сағат бұрын
Apparently Kawasaki has the highest crime rate in the greater Tokyo metropolis but it still feels much safer than London where I lived for many years and was mugged saw violent Street crime. There's hardly any of that in Japan at all

I'm surprised that is rebuildable with no parking and the small alley walk way. How much would it cost to rebuild a house to make it medium size, ruff est.?
