Aleppo is one of the most ancient and civilized cities throughout history. It's well known by its generous people and their resilience. This video brings too many memories thanks for sharing I left there when I was 13 years due to war and never visited again.

Thanks for sharing mate, I am originally from Aleppo and I would say there were much better spots to visit in Aleppo than the ones you captured, except for the castle of course. I hope you have the chance to visit them like the main park in the middle of the city, the Jedaideh historical area, The old churches & mosques in the city, and the museum & many others... It is sad how it all turned post the war but there's always hope one day it all comes back!

It's pretty interesting to see tourists in Aleppo and I apologize if you saw unwelcome things or even bad people in here, the people are so kind because they have never seen a tourist before because of the war of course, although I would prefer for any tourist to go with a guidance to show you the other places in the city besides the citadel and the old ruins they is pretty much everything in the city. Welcome to syria❤

14:57 10000SYP and that's like 20-25% of what a doctor or an enginneer would get as a monthly salary in 2010. So in 2010 they'll get around 40 000SYP (=800USD in 2010) but now they propably get less than 300 000SYP (= 25USD in 2024), and the price of that falafel wrap was like 0.40USD (like 30-40SYP). And thanks for showing the the destruction caused by the war and pointing out the regime had bigger guns and caused more damage and suffering than the oppositions.

It is game over for Syria. You can rebuild infraestructure but you can not replace the brain drainage (dead and emigration of qualified workers) happened during the war. From now on, they will have to live like a poor African country with cyclic conflicts. Perhaps in 200 years...

Syrian should work with their government to rebuild Syria ✅
@the0arabian7 ай бұрын
The government itself is working since about 5 years in stealing the economy of its own country.. Talk to any syrian about that and you will hear a lot of sad and shit. Although, I am optimistic, and wait of change.
@nyangtries26456 ай бұрын
Yes maybe the government should do a somekind of a project in order to entice their former citizen to comeback and build Syria together since some of them are on overseas, afterall its still their home. And there is no place like home. Just like what S.Korea did on the late '80-90's they build up their country again with the participation of their citizens. Now look at their country, I believe Syria can do it too.
