@@thereallemon429Yes, we have bars in Jordan, alcohol is legal, and we also have many Christians and Christian churches. I myself am Orthodox Christian. Shocking, right?! 😱
@الداري-ز4 ай бұрын
@@granadina48 In fact, it is only legal for Christians and tourists, and of course we do not have many Christians, they are a minority not exceeding 10%, and also there are many Christians among us who do not drink and consider it forbidden, there is a church next to a mosque, go to it and know a priest there who himself said that it is forbidden, and also most of them are not an argument to justify the legality of this scourge
@granadina484 ай бұрын
Everything that you wrote is absolute nonsense! Alcohol is NOT forbidden in Christianity. In fact, it is encouraged. Christians, for the most part, consume alcohol. Those who don’t do so for other reasons, usually health reasons or they simply dislike it. It is definitely NOT forbidden in Christianity. I mean, in churches during the mass we drink red wine! LOL! I drink in Jordan all the time. Many of my Muslim friends drink as well. Alcohol is LEGAL in Jordan. Anyone can go and buy it as long as they’re at least 18 years of age. Just because you dislike it doesn’t mean the rest of us should. You mind your own business, I’ll mind mine.

The Dead Sea disappearing is mostly due the fact it's entirely fed by the Jordan river, which has been reduced to an irrigation ditch by overuse in agriculture by both the Israelis and Jordanians, since it's basically the only source of fresh water in the area.
@jackdavids272319 күн бұрын
Jordan doesn't get any of the water at least not directly, it's part of the water deal with Israhell, Israhell is the one stealing all of the water and it gives Jordan some of it according to the water deal, Jordan doesn't even have access to the Jordan river.

2:00 Correction, Nabateans were arabs: Oxford dictionary of Phrase and Fable: “Nabatean: A member of an ancient Arabian people who from 312 bc formed an independent kingdom with its capital at Petra (now in Jordan). The kingdom was allied to the Roman Empire from ad 63 and incorporated as the province of Arabia in ad 106.” And in Archaeology and Material Culture of Nabataea and the Nabataeans by Tali Erikson: “Nabataeans were an Arab people who inhabited northwest Arabia over two thousand years ago. Their center was the city of Petra, located in what today is the southern part of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan” “…They were reportedly a small, but extremely wealthy, Arab people who transported aromatics, frankincense, and myrrh from the Arabian Peninsula to the Mediterranean coast and Egypt.
