Dont play war thunder. War thunder support staff is useless. They ask for evidence of a problem 100 times and in the end they just say "we have not had other reports of this problem". Also someone bought 50€ worth golden eagles and never got them and support staff didnt help him either.

Personally, I am a Thai who has a good experience in Afghanistan since I went there like 3 months ago. I traveled through the Pakistan border into Afghanistan. I contacted a local guide who spoke very good English and took care of me throughout the trip, including driving, booking hotels, giving advice on local language translation and tourist documents in Kabul and Bamiyan (I am not a good English speaker). Throughout the trip, although there were some chaos, it was not serious. The Taliban police officers along the way paid me good attention, since I was an outsider and knew some local language, and the government officials did a good job. Most of the people I talked to were quite friendly. I was impressed by the scenery and saw things that I never see in the normal media. All of this is just my personal experience (maybe the reason why things went smoothly was because of the guide and my good attitude). Thank you. ❤

I would like to provide a correction at 24:40 . The Taliban are not Salfists. They are Deobandi which in a nutshell is connected to and named after the Islamic University of Deoband - Dar al-Ulum - in India and Deobandi are of the Hanafi school of thought and recognize all 4 main schools of thought (Madhabs) as legitimate and accepted. This distinction is important as 99% of all the Sunni Muslims are Hanafi an in Afghanistan being a "Wahabi" (A type of Salafi) is considered an Insult.
@afgspamz
@afgspamz 3 ай бұрын
Also they are completely against salafists and declared them to be dangerous and enemies of the religion.
@Mira-cchi
@Mira-cchi 3 ай бұрын
Not 99% brother. Almost the whole African muslim populations are Maliki and part of other arab countries as well. Hanafi is the biggest (especially in Asia) but Maliki is also big. And another thing is that they are the earliest madhabs as well being less than a century after the death of the prophet. So this video and media in general is wrong when they say that salafi/wahabi are "fundamentalist" when they are just modern innovations...

They are salafi 😂 In in Kabul right now and I had an argument with a Talib. And he told me that we are salafis, You can be a hanafi, Hanbali, Maliki and still be a salafi. Salafi refers to anyone trying to follow Quran and Hadith. So they themselves will always claim to be salafi. I think you’re confused about their madhab. Their madhab is mostly Hanafi but a large proportion of their followers are Hanbali (Wahhabi) as well, Mostly the ones around Nangrahar.

Despite all the turmoil and international headlines focused on war and conflict, your experience paints a vivid picture of a place that feels alive with history, culture, and surprising beauty. The Wakhan Corridor hike sounds like a journey back in time-isolated from the world and even from Afghanistan’s own troubled past. It's wild how the same place can offer both a sense of overwhelming chaos, with Kabul’s traffic, and yet a deeper serenity in its untouched corners. This is the side of Afghanistan most will never see, but need to.

Afghanistan had changed regimes probably as much as flags and every single one of them went: 'I don't have the time to deal with this sh*t now, just leave it be'. And the infernal bureaucratic monster just kept growing and spreading. Someone from the current ruling party probably tried to clean things up a bit at one point but then quickly realised that it would be much easier to fight and defeat (multiple) invaders all over again that to change some entry permit regulation.

24:40 I kinda have to make a correction on this. Salafism isn’t a school of thought in Islam, it’s an ideological movement. Also the definition you used saying that Salafis are those who want to return to the ways of early islam technically would register every muslim as a Salafi since, to muslims, the practices of the early muslims is the standard that should be followed. The differences between Salafis and most mainstream muslims is that Salafis have a different methodology to achieving that goal and have different interpretations that differ from the main schools of thought when it comes to practicing religion and viewing how the original muslims were like. Salafism as a movement is very broad and includes groups like Wahhabis and Quietists who are both very ideologically different.
@mueezadam8438
@mueezadam8438 3 ай бұрын
While Wahhabism is historically and theoretically a Salafist branch, in practice the movement has co-opted/incorporated several elements which place it at odds with Salafism, namely ethno-nationalism. That’s the nature of geopolitics anyways, populism is a vehicle through which one elite faction may achieve supremacy over the other, it’s always a big tent ideology meant to grab as many supporters as possible.
@fives5555arc
@fives5555arc 3 ай бұрын
@@mueezadam8438 Thanks for the correction and I couldn’t agree more. Salafism is also in an umbrella in itself. It is an extension of the Islamic Modernist Movement of the 19th century. This broader movement brought so many different ideologies that it’s insane to think that they all stemmed from the same movement. The Modern Islamic Feminist movement was one of these movements, which is really ironic to think that this movement shares an ideological origin with Salafism under the Taliban. All with the one question or topic of how the Islamic world should operate itself in the modern era.

Hanafis are basically one of four mainstream interpretations and schools of thought of Islam i.e. Hanafi, Shafi , Maliki , Hanbali ...... Salafi's means religion and interpretation according to the first three generations and represents collective consciousness of the first three generations of muslims following the Prophet i.e. Sahaba, Taabeen, Taba Taabeen. The Taliban are not Salafi/Wahabi who are Hannbali in doctrinal sense. They are Hannafi (one of the and the most practiced 4 schools of Sunni Islam) Deobandi's a school. The US purposefully had them study the strand of Deobandi Islam that was present in Pakistan written by writers such as by Moududi inspired by Muslim Brotherhood ideology and Hannabali proto Salafist imam Ibn Tammiya which promoted armed jihad especially against communists and Russians. The Deobandi's in India were nothing like them and were widely involved in anti colonial activity against the British and were fiercely opposed to partition of India.

The Talibans aren’t Deobandis, I’m in Kabul right now and the Taliban refer to themselves as followers of the Salaf, Or salafi. They do follow the Hanafi madhab but they’re definitely not deobandi, Majority of them don’t even know we’re Deoband is. One the Talibans Biggest clerics was a Hanbali Salafi from Herat, His name was Mujeed Rahman ansari and he studied for over 24 years in Saudi, Before returning to Afghanistan

They are Salafi. Salaf refers to the early predecessors of Islam. It basically means anyone who tries to follow the Quran and Hadith as its written. The Taliban openly refer to themselves as followers of the Salaf (Early Muslims) but they do follow the Hanafi madhab as that’s the mainstream Madhab in Afghanistan. A large proportion of Talibs from eastern Afghanistan follow the Hanbali madhab and some of the Talibans clerics and Scholars are Hanbali. Mujeeb Rahman ansari one of the Talibans mainstream clerics studied for over 24 Years in Saudi.

@@ajmulsharifi The OG Talibans studied in Deobandi seminaries in Pakistan. Yeah sure "Deobandi" as a concept doesn't exist in Afghanistan (More of a Sub Continent thing) but all of them were almost all taught in Deobandi way in Pakistan.

@@kamrankhalid2153 That is wrong on so many levels😭 Km in Afghanistan right now, And majority have either studied within Afghanistan or abroad. Some of their biggest clerics were followers of the Hanbali madhab. Mujeeb Rahman ansari was one the Talibans biggest clerics and he studied in Saudi for over 24 years. Majority of your average Taliban members studied within Afghanistan as they were fighting a war and studying. The Taliban don’t follow Weird Bidah that deobandis follow like dancing in Mosques or building shrines. They are in fact Salafi but majority follow the Hanafi school of thought
