As a MO State alum, this was cool to watch. I liked seeing you guys explore the new facilities. Haven't seen them since I graduated. Cool video boys.

Great video. Shows how good the opportunities are for English lads looking to continue their careers. Big difference in facilities between Div I and smaller NCAA Div II or NAIA. Would be good to look at smaller schools to keep it in perspective.

There are quite a few buildings on the SMS campus now that weren't there when I graduated in 1986, that soccer stadium being one of them.

Can't wait to see where the Missouri State Mens Soccer team will call their home conference in the 25-26 season since C-USA does not sponsor Mens Soccer. Maybe they will stay in the Valley since it has been a lot of success for them!

It's ridiculous what these D1 programs have done to American players. My big East team won the NCAA championship in the 90s with almost entirely local area kids - yet nowadays you won't find one local player on the team yet the team has done crap since! As if MS state really had to go to Burnley to find players with all the great American players in St. Louis? I don't think so. This isn't like foreign players going to England and stealing local spots from English boys at high level pro academies. The American kid isn't only missing out on playing college soccer, they are missing out on, in many cases, a way to pay for their education and their advancement in American society thereafter. As we know, most college players don't go pro. And most foreigners take their free education and run back home. And don't get me wrong, it's not foreign players former American players like myself are angry with...it's the moron coaches that bring you over here.

They need to require at least 8 birthright citizens in every college squad. Pretty sure the Prem follows a similar homegrown rule
@jeffbrown95235 ай бұрын
That is a very racist thing to say, i am american and maybe the foreign players have more drive. This is not a case of "stealing" oppurtunities from American players, but just they may be better choices for some teams!!!
@33fivers5 ай бұрын
I don't mind foreign players. However, there should be a CAP. Just like the premier league require x amont of home grown. Obviously, they can't compete with the big schools for the best American players.
