I'm from DC and I visited Georgetown quite a few times as a kid. It was always my dream school lol the vibe is just super classic and retro, yet modern at the same time. Obviously I wasn't good enough to go when the time came lol but I'm for sure a lifelong fan of the school and their athletics. The only downside I'd say is due to the extremely high academic standards, the school feels very exclusive so most athletic events don't get the same level of attendance the other big schools get, like UVA, UMD, etc. That's why most Georgetown games aren't packed out. The last sell out I remember I believe was in 2010, it was the "Gray Out" game. The Georgetown men's basketball team was ranked top 10 in the country, and it was a home game against Duke. Duke was also ranked top 10 in the country and this was in the midst of Coach K and his dynasty. the best atmosphere I've been a part of as a fan, lol I was only 10 but it was unreal. President Obama was there and everything

Hoya Saxa! Also, Healy Hall is not a cathedral. It’s a multi-purpose building with libraries, offices, classrooms. There is the Dahlgren Chapel behind it, though, that is beautiful when the courtyard kwanzan cherry trees bloom in the spring.
