Thank you White Desert for putting on an amazing trip! If you want to visit the South Pole, then email my friend Maynard (mz@mztravel.co) and he can help organize! Serious requests only.
Who is ready for a WILD adventure to the world's most remote place?! Even though I may have traveled to all 197 countries, THIS IS MY BIGGEST TRIP EVER in terms of planning, production costs and overall epicness! Join me on the adventure of a lifetime to visit the ACTUAL, GEOGRAPHIC SOUTH POLE -- a place where less than 3,000 humans in history have ever stepped foot.
If you want to win 1 of 5 signed postcards from Antarctica, comment below and tell me A) your favorite part of the video, B) where you are watching from and C) your bucket list trip! Bonus points if you are creative! I ship worldwide :)

Hey travelers! Do you want to win one (of five) signed postcards from Antarctica?! Comment A) your favorite moment of the video, B) where you are watching from, and C) your bucket list trip!! Bonus points if you say something creative and stand out 😍 I’m picking winners in 48 hours from now, and I ship worldwide! PS - I want to genuinely THANK YOU for watching this story - it was (by far) my biggest production yet in terms of planning, budgeting and overall epicness. Thank you to White Desert for putting on this once-in-a-lifetime expedition! In case you are wondering, they offset ALL of their carbon emissions from flying & daily activities - and have been completely carbon neutral since 2007! I love you all and stay tuned for more awesome adventures ahead!!!! ❄🐧🇦🇶

Two Belgian explorers Dirk (dixie) Dansercour and Alain Hubert crossed the South Pole in 1997-1998. They covered almost 3,932 kilometers in 99 days with a power kite, a record. Dansercoer died on June 7, 2021 during an expedition in Greenland after falling into a crevasse.

My Grandfather use to do expeditions in Antarctica during and after WWII. He was a weather analyst back then. He still has the gigantic zippo style lighter that he cooked food on. Hes 95 and still does work for Shriners hospital of StL. He said it was so cold sometimes that it would freeze his mustache curls. 😊

I lived in my 1979 Pete 359 with flat top walkin for almost a decade running booze from California to Nevada over Donner 6 times a week. I loved it. Then hauled fuel in Nevada and then dirt in an end dump. Miss my jobs but it got me to Hawaii in 2004. Take care. ❤

Hi Drew. This is my mom’s youtube account because the comments are disabled.😅 Since I was 7 years old my dream was to go to every country in the world. That’s basically my bucket list and visit south pole of course. But a bucket list trip would definitely be the Caribbean. I’ve been watching you since I was 8. I’m 14 now and I still watch you’re videos with the same passion as I did when I was 8 when you didn’t pay the barber a visit as often as now, just kidding.😂 I sent you an email back in February and you answered like 20 minutes later, trust me that made my day probably 10 times. I am sending this from Hafnarfjörður in Iceland near the other pole. The 2 best parts of the video is when you touched the pole at the end and when you flushed the toilet. 🤣 I hope you visit Iceland sometimes and if you do, you know who to call. Keep doing what you’re doing❤🥶

Similar weather for half the year as Antarctica here in Alberta, Canada. 🇨🇦 Also, my favorite part of the video was seeing upclose and personal footage of the Emperor Penguins, such cool and majestic animals! As for bucket list trip, it would have to be Northern France or really any part of Europe that played a big part in World War 2 as i am really interested in that part of history. Lastly, I'd love the opportunity to be mailed one of the postcards! ❤🐧

RUSK!! I'm South African and just saw the part where Drew eats his first breakfast in Antartica. For those wondering the "granola stick thingy" is called a Beskuit in Afrikaans and a Rusk in English!!! ❤🎉My wife and I had tears in our eyes watching this video as we were so happy for you. My favorite moment, every time you had heart eyes because of what you were experiencing. Writing from the Netherlands. Dream destination atm is traveling around the Philippines. As I'm chronically ill now it's a lot harder to travel. Before it would have been easy to travel around there but I focused on different countries in SEA. I may not be able to do it the way I used to but I for sure will still make the most of it when possible. Just go 🎉

Favorite moment was when you finally reached your destination. That feeling of achievement is truly genuine and can be relatable in lots of aspects in life. It wasn’t an easy journey for you and your team. There were storms along the way and sometimes it made you doubt whether you’ll make it or not. But at the end of the day, you just keep going. For me that was the message of this vlog. Just Go! I’m watching from the Philippines and my bucket list trip is Iceland. I want to witness the Northen Lights and the beauty of this place. Nature has this magnificent power of healing. Congrats on this achievement Drew! 👏🙌

Wonderful video, I'm so happy everything worked out for you! I got emotional as you shared your excitement over the final flight to the pole actually happening. My favorite part of the video, though, was Ice Tunnel. Where the Antelope Canyon is warm hues, this tunnel embodied the cooler hues of the earth. Breathtaking. Bummer you're crew was the last to be able to go through it. Bucket list trip: Spending a month deeply immersed in Turkey. I only spent 3 days there back in 2016, but it was definitely my favorite place I've ever been in my life. Watching from Sequim, WA, the beautiful Olympic Peninsula!

The commitment to get there is so painstaking but yet you achieved it through dedication and perseverance. Well done Drew! much love from a teen living in the UK! Antarctica is also one place on my bucket list and so is so many places in the world,. I'd probably love to go to Brazil to see the Amazon or Mauritius, Türkiye Ethiopia, India or Namibia if I ever had the chance to do so ! There is an Antarctic station located precisely at the geographic South Pole. It's called the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station. This research station is operated by the United States Antarctic Program (USAP) and serves as a base for scientific research in various fields, including astrophysics, glaciology, meteorology, and geophysics. The station is situated at 90 degrees south latitude, making it the southernmost continually inhabited place on Earth. So it's safe to assume that well over 10,000 people have visited the south pole.

Hey Drew! Congrats on reaching the geographic South Pole. What a wonderful video and what a trip to experience vicariously. A) My favorite part of the video is when you were looking out from the sauna because I could feel being there and experiencing that. That was tied with looking up at that glacier because the beauty and size of that makes everything else in this world that we worry about seem so very petty. B) I'm watching from Eatontown, New Jersey, USA - the Jersey Shore. C) My bucket list trip is actually to ride around the world, west to east via my motorcycle, taking it slow. It will happen. I'm a truck driver from Jersey that takes off on a sabbatical every few years to take long rides. This next one will be even more epic. Thank you for your videos.

Canada. C) Antarctica is our bucket list trip, now that we have done an around the world trip, plus many many inherent countries. It's my wife and my goal to see as many countries as we can. We travel the world, every few months. Thanks for another amazing video, Drew. Safe travels to anyone who reads this! 🌎✈️

Hi Drew, Frisco,TX!! My favorite part of this video is watching you go to the South Pole!! I find it fascinating and interesting on how non habitants try to survive some of the harshest and coldest environments on earth!! My bucket list travel journey would be to explore Africa!!

Hi Drew Outstanding video and thank you for sharing - i knew you will be one of the people making this journey Thanks for showing us the world! I am a subscriber and watching in the comfort of my house - at 66, I can only see these from the coverage like this Please do send the card or video to your local Shriner's or St Jude or any orphanage of your liking My fav moment is you Walking through ice cave is awesome, even though reaching South Pole itself is amazing Watching from the comfort of my house My bucket list is to see Northeast India, Southeast countries, South America (Ushuaia) and glimpse of Antarctica!! Travel makes you well rounded person - you will learn to adjust to all the people, accents and make friends - also helps with conversations about many subjects - after all, the world is small and you never know who you meet and what you experience By the way, I was in Cape Town about this time last year - great place - went to the botanical garden as well as the Cape of Good Hope and lighthouse there!! Please continue your travels - be safe and have a great life!!

Before you started your expedition to Antarctica, I'm glad you got to Cape Town- which has the distinction of having penguin colonies AND baboons living very close together! Did you wish you could have taken a message from the African penguins to their Antarctic brethren? Now that you've seen the South Pole, do you get why even the Emperor penguins give it wide berth? Such an AMAZING video with great photography but I'm happy to leave that continent to the penguins!

Absolutely INSANE that you can somehow manage to one-up visiting every country in the world by visiting the actual South Pole. Both are dreams of mine! A) Favorite part is the Icicle Cave. Such a satisfying crunch 😂 B) An American currently watching from Istanbul, Turkiye! C) Bucket List Trip for me IS the South Pole-- It seems so unreachable, thanks for the video, it reminds me that it IS possible! 🙏🏻

@@drewbinsky well if you ever go to an aquarium, they’re very cute. They have like a stress ball material on their head that you could squeeze which they use for echolocation and they’re very nice and you could put your hand in their mouth. And yet they weigh a few thousand pounds.
