For me, I would prefer the freezing cold over extreme heat. At least in a freezing cold environment, you can put on clothing to make yourself warm. Where as extreme heat will make you sweat a lot, meaning to drink more water, and being nuked by the scorching sun. I used to live in Arizona where the temperature can reach 120°F in the summertime, and when I've visited Alaska in January (And will be going again soon in the wintertime), the coldest was -40°F. Extreme heat + humidity makes it feel hotter. I prefer the dry heat over humidity mostly. Good video as always Drew! 🙂

This summer where I live in Queensland hasn't been too bad. For the most part it's been on average a top of 35°C and gets down to 30°C during the night. In saying that we've had a relatively dry summer compared to last year where we got hit with those floods for months on end and that brought a lot of humidity. So most days were around 35°C with 90% humidity which is unbearable imo.

I grew up in Kuwait and I can assure you, it is hotter than any country in the middle east. I've been to qatar, saudi, uae, bahrain but none of them came close to insane heat in kuwait. I remember one day it was around 58 degrees celcius and it was so hot and humid that it became a holiday. Sitting in a car would be a nightmare and the summer was the only time when my dad was fine with me instantly blasting the AC on max. It also gets very cold in winter in kuwait.

Kuwait doesn't get humid often it's mostly dusty that's why its winter is cooler than other gcc countries aside from Saudi Arabia.

It’s important to point out that our (Kuwaiti/Arab) skins are used to the weather and sun here, so all this is very normal to us, you can see people walking around and even drinking hot tea. And this is why we don’t need to use any sunscreen products😃.

As a Kuwaiti, I rarely go outside in the summer. I’m glad you enjoyed Kuwait, but I was wondering if you tried riding a camel? If not you should try that next time ! Also give Kuwait another shot in the winter, going to the desert in winter is a whole different experience!

I've lived in hot and humid Fiji for about 8 years now. The summers often get up to 35 C, but 42 with the humidity. The worst thing to do is to sit in Air Conditioning, because it doesn't let your body adapt. You end up feeling the heat far worse when you walk out of the air conditioning than if you just lived in the normal range of natural temperatures. Cold climate is easier to adapt to. You can always put another layer on, but you can't always take another layer off!
