I hope you have enjoyed these beautiful islands 🙏🤍🇮🇨 I want to translate the texts: top left 9:41 I thought it was very nice. "Today we go up to Bejenado again in homage to our dog Lola who accompanied us up here like a champion, and she still is. Thank you, Lola, for everything you have give us. Mary and Henry" 9:35 left "Nothing better than "enbolcarse" (I dont undertad really clear what is written but I think is that, a canary islands slang to say embrace) in ours mountain, palm trees... Vitamins for the soul. Kisses to the Sky" 9:35 right top text. "The best is everything that you propose with your heart, do not leave things in simple dreams, fight for it" I don't understand the calligraphy of the text below I'm sorry 😅 9:43: right page top text is french i dont speak french 😢 The texts on the middle: "We climbed to the most beautiful peak of La Palma, it is an honor to be here, until the body can take it. Many crazy things are done for love, but it's worth it if it's with the right person." 9:46 the entire left page is written un other languages I dont know. The right page the first text I only undertand "stunning views, time to time." And the bottom text: "My first time in this beautiful island, and un this beautiful place thanks to you for such a pretty experience. Sandra and Dámaso". I'm sorry if I didn't know how to express it well, I hope I have well captured the magic of those texts 🤍

I actually was so close to crying because of this video, not a sad cry though. I am in LOVE with anything that has to do with space or the planets in our solar system. This video doesn't do the stars and planets justice. Seeing things like this in person can easily bring an person to tears. Space is a beautiful thing and makes you appreciate life here on earth, if I didnt have physical medical issues I would climb the mountains Jay climbed in this video. Thank you for sharing you experience with us. This made my whole month, I'm definitely saving this video to look at later just to look back at it if I'm feeling down or sad.

Totally agree. I'd go so far as to say that many people who think they wouldn't like astronomy, or at least would find it boring, just haven't had a chance to see a truly dark sky. About 35 years ago, I went camping with some friends in the high desert of Southern California and was shocked by the number of visible stars in the sky. It was a very dark night, and the sky was crystal clear. filled with stars. iI was a magical experience. I've never seen anything like it again. A few years ago, I was visiting a friend in a remote area of Texas, expecting to relive the same experience of the night sky, but the light pollution from Dallas about 150+ miles away obstructed the night sky. I do hope one day I can visit a place like you did, free from light pollution, and witness the wonder of the night sky again.

I've been lucky enough to have a similar experience on the country side of Austria, where I'm from, and I just remember me and my mates all sat there for about an hour, not saying a single word cus nothing needed to be said. This has to be one of the most beautiful videos I have seen ever. A big message behind it. I’m grateful that you’ve been able to do this Jay, I might never get this opportunity. Thank you for sharing with us all.

It's crazy that Jay went from cementing his head in a microwave to creating some of the most interesting content I've watched in a while with this video, the eco system and the Gameboy game.

At 9:30 in the book there’s also a German one: “18-04-23 Meine dritte besteigung. Jetzt 67 jahre. 2std für den Aufstieg.” “18-04-23 My third ascent. Now 67 years. 2 hours for the ascent.”

Jay this is the best video I’ve seen on KZbin ever bro.. idk if you remember but we met at the KSI fight, you & Romell were sitting behind me & my boy & you was giving us advice on how to grow on KZbin, I’m almost at 10k subs now & defo want to do content like this when my channels a bit bigger, you’re a massive inspiration & humblest guy I’ve met.. much love bro❤️🙌🏼

Jay is perhaps the best story teller on youtube. We know he can be weird but I think everyone knows the character by now - we love the real jay just as much as the guy who cemented his head in a microwave. God bless J (& Romell)

as someone who adores astronomy with every bone in their body, this video is special to me. i am in total awe of what you’ve done. i would love to do this one day. the difference light pollution makes is awful. there is so much we don’t allow ourselves to see. the universe is so humbling and it makes me happy to see someone appreciate it in a way that i can relate to. thank you for this video jay. i hope you had the best time ❤

I was in awe of this whole video. One day I wish to be an astrophysicist, and when Jay found Saturn and Jupiter my jaw actually dropped. The combination of the music/editing along with the actual visible rings of Saturn is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever watched on this platform. Thank you for sharing this Jay, you're a legend ❤ Edit: I just rewatched that point and I'm actually tearing up

16:09 the two messages on the left are not in Spanish they are German. The top one says: "Great as always-sadly not that good of a view into the "Eolobre" (this is probably a valley, hard to read how you spell it) and the "Tojogete", Rea and Gerhard from Düsseldorf". While the bottom one says: "One of the most beautiful tours on La Palma, Dagmar + Reiner, Aachen". Probably not the most interesting stories from that book lol
