These kinds of videos are my favorite! P.s. 4:54 As an architect, I can tell you that really seems to be a technique that was used in the past to protect wood from the environment. Today it is mostly used in Japan, but I don't know if it is intentional in this case hahaha

Beautiful and informative video as always. 😁🤘 The church is indeed painted with wood tar. It was very common, at least in Scandinavia, as a way to preserve wooden buildings. Still used today, though not as common. Smells amazing!

With such majestic, blackmetalish woods, rivers... ducks (YEAH! \m/)... I would care less about town. Lol. I'd grab a small speaker (maybe set some Heilung/Wardruna songs because why not), a good book and a big bag of marshmallows 'cause going outside to meet nature without marshmallows should be considered a crime... and that's it. Find a good spot under a big ol' tree and be one with the landscape. Norway in general sure looks beautiful.
