This may be silly but can you do a video on your flat out bars/crash bars/engine guards? I replaced my stock crash bars that were on my 21 street glide special a few weeks ago with the flat out bars . I really like the looks but I wish they were wider. I haven't taken any long trips with them but the times I have had my feet/legs on them I feel cramped. I wish they were wider. Can you show us your riding position with your feet/legs on them? And maybe find a way to extend the flat out bars a little wider? Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

It's not silly. I throw my legs over them. The breather side doesn't give much room but I still can do it.

Eh, if you have enough money to install mods, you have enough to self insure any issues. These aren't fragile new model year engines. Worrying about what the factory will chip in for a fix is kinda pointless IMHO. Just do it (from a reputable mech) and enjoy the results or deal with the consequences.

All of this nice, but completely unnecessary for people who love to ride. Buy yourself a Yamaha Venture or Eluder if you want the best bang for your hard earned buck air cooled V Twin. If you want a performance touring bike, get a k1600 with a Bren Tune. You can save, or spend the tens of thousands of dollars on your family. lol
