Just found this channel, loved the two "Toolkit challenge" videos. The seller seemed like they would rather their stuff sit on the shelf for another 5+ years instead of knocking a few quid off for a bulk sale. Hope they enjoy their prices getting devalued through inflation, all while they are paying their monthly cabinet rental. Mad!

Old tools like this remind me so much of when I was growing up and I used to get all these kinds of tools for my own use as that’s all I could afford growing up and now they still adorn my boxes and are used frequently- still the best tools made. And my daily driver tape measure is an old steel 6’ Lufkin Rule Co. One that my Great, Great Uncle had and it works better then most new ones do still. Great video and I hope your able to find a Robertson screw driver set while you in the US even though there mostly Canadian. Take care

Would have been cool if you could have included the old drill. Ok. So I've got to go with the vintage tools. I'm partial to hand tool woodworking. I'm trying to figure out how to do several projects using ShadowFoam, one of which is my woodworking tools. Another is my drafting instruments, a set of gunsmithing tools, a smallish set of mechanics tools, and an absolutely massive pocket knife collection. Finally, I'm planning to do my EDC flashlights and a few Zippos. I'm a bit flummoxed figuring out the most cost effective way to get this done, because I'll be ordering and shipping from the UK.

I bought most of my tools, that are vintage from boot sales or small car show auto jumble. You get so much more for your money. Most items £1 to £5 max 🤭
