The first time I saw my dad cry was when his dad passed away 22 years ago. I remember him sitting on the porch drinking a Colt 45 and listening to this song while crying to himself, I noticed and sat down next to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek told him I love him then went back in the house to give him his space to grieve, I was 10 years old back then. People back in the day had respect for old people for their mother and father and most of all for each other . Nobody was calling each other negga this or negga that because we knew the meaning of this word and the racism connected to the word negga ! We would watch out for each other and took the time to speak to each other with respect anf love . Somehow and some where we have lost the love and respect but our God Almighty Yahuah will restore our nature love for each other . Praise and pray to our God Almighty Yahuah in King Yahusha Ha Mashiach's name . We the Israelite people will be united under God Almighty Yahuah as it should be !
@imbees25 ай бұрын
Actually, back in the 60s, 70s, using the N word was totally acceptable in all families. It was a word used as a familiar description, not a negative. I.E., "did you hear about that n word that got 86xt from the bar?" Then they say the name of the N word person! Utilizing the N Word amongst Black people is relative to our culture, and has nothing to do with white people evaluating how or why we say it, or if it's acceptable for white people to say it. ITS NOT. It's none of your business why Black people freely call each other or use the N word. That's Black folks business. Not yours. It's become tiresome explaining to white people.

The Dramatic Behind The Mic is WeeGee, with his unmistakable gift and passion. We, WeeGee’s family thank you all for still enjoying what is now classified as a “legacy recording”. Still being enjoyed since crashing onto the charts!! William would be honored, as are we at DBTM. ENJOY!!! 🎼🎤

In the mid 90's Larry Demps of The Dramatics was my high school American history teacher in Detroit. At the time didn't know who he was in til my mom's pulled out that yellow album cover and there he was.
