I like the idea of using a ribbon or tie to pull in the pant waist. I have so many clothes that are too big in the waist, and it’s a pain to take the stuff to be altered. I hate belts. They dig in no matter what

i love the outfits! although i have a problem with outfits that makes us look like a professional. For example, your last outfit makes you look like a journalist or reporter. For me, when i attempt to look formal i end up looking like a flight attendant 🤦🏻‍♀️ i dont know how to overcome this first world fashion problem😂

Appreciate the body positivity in this vid :) I feel like I am finally starting to appreciate my body and seeing you do the same is even more motivation :) Plus that second outfitttttt! Also, the third outfit actually flatters your body really well! You looks taller in it and I think the ballet flats really made it nice too with the grunge of the shoe matched with the aunty-ness lol. Idk if that makes sense.

Hey Maia, First time viewer here (second video in a row tho). I mean this in the most respectful way, you have a really nice body, nothing to be insecure about. That biker style jacket is something you can wear with anything and look good. At first I didn’t like the hanky hem skirt, but when you paired it with the moto jacket, and scrappy pointed flats, it was very unique and cute. I’m with the two different c heckerboard look. A lot. It’s hard to find black and white checked skirt. I’m a plaid fiend. Remember, accessories and shoes can really make a look stand out. I like your approach and tongue in cheek “I wanna look cool”. In. This case it is edgy and eccentric without looking silly

The checker sweater with the checker skirt is great! I totally would have added the red scarf to that one for a bright punch! My guess is 5' flat for your height. I'm a terrible judge of height tho, everyone's shorter than me. I'm 5'11", and I tower over all my friends. Even my partner is shorter than me. He's 5'8". I crouch down in a lot of pictures, lol.
