The Switch Lite has a Dpad. The separate buttons on the switch is for multi-player, being able to pass someone next to you a controller and play with them is why that design exists.

Good speakers and screen with what looks like great battery life. When you combine emulation, cloud, and native mobile ports all in a much more portable form factor than an x86 handheld. You get a really appealing device

Definitely very nice. Shame we didn’t hear a lot more news about this going around

the one thing a dpad has over a stick is doing precise directional inputs, which is nice both for retro games and tryhard games. a floating dpad surrenders this one advantage it has over a stick with nothing really in return that wouldnt make u simply want to use a stick instead. so your "thats kinda dumb, horrible design" comment is bizarre. not a switch fanboy btw i just hate how the majority of dpads now are trash for controllers everywhere, the switch version (and few others like certain 8bitdo controllers) where its really 4 separate buttons is extra good tho because it lets games or pc macro bros place actual individual abilities or buttons on the dpad if the stick is whats used for movement. the only reason someone like you would say the floater is better is because it feels more like a stick, which is a pretty weird thing to say out loud when an actual stick is placed directly above it.

This is definitely a nice handheld for emulation. The screen will make playing games so comfortable. Android games will no doubt be comfortable on it as well. I hope it is supported for a long time with good updates and timely security bug fixes. Something like this should be able to be supported for a long time. Perfect little handheld to use when committing on crappy city transit.

I have this device and I love it. Yea there some small nuances but I love my Pocket S.

Absolutely agree. It’s also nice that it has support for Nattiv android gaming, And to be honest with emulation being so far ahead on android versus even windows, you can really watch the performance in many of these games exceeded what you might on a Windows handheld
