I am with you on the Maunders prequel. I'd love to learn more about James and Lily, Remus and Sirius but I'm scared for it since Cursed Child was such a letdown and I'm scared of what would happen if a prequel was done. I'd also love a prequel from Throne of Glass's Rowan and ACOMAF's Rhysand. Both men lived such interesting lives centuries before they met their mates and it'd be so much fun reading about that

I think a prequel series would turn out alright,since the Cursed Child wasn't really written by J.K Rowling,but by Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. Rowling herself writing some books on the Marauders would turn out alright.

Some prequels I would like: 7 full books featuring the Marauders (James, Sirius, Remus, Peter) and the movie adaptations actors (In the same order: Aaron Johnson, Ben Barnes, Andrew Garfield, Jamie Bell) Stand alone, duology, or Trilogy featuring the Hogwarts Founders Stand alone featuring early life of Kelsier and his wife from The Final Empire Those are the ones that immediately come to mind, but I am sure if I sit here long enough I could think of plenty more. great video!

All The Wrong Questions subtly answers lots of questions that were left open at the end of A Series of Unfortunate Events, especially regarding Chapter 14 of The End. I doubt there will ever be a prequel series to answer everything tho, but that's why The Beatrice Letters and the Unauthorized Autobiography and All the Wrong Questions exist, cuz like you can make so many theories for some stuff and get answers to others hidden subtly in dialogue.

This isn't a YA series, but GAME OF THRONES. The whole series picks up 14 years after the events of King Robert's rebellion and there's SO MUCH that happens back then that sets up the present day that it would be great to see that. Especially to see characters like Rhaegar Targaryen, Lyanna Stark, Elia Martell, etc. obviously.

As for my own kind of prequel I'd like, I have to say the only thing that comes to mind is a back story book on the King of Adarlan. The little snippets in the Throne of Glass series of how he became who he was, I think I'd just be really interested to read it happen!

There isn't a Count Olaf series, but there is apparently a series about Lemony Snicket (because, as I've realized recently, with the premier of the show, Snicket is not just Daniel Handler's pseudonym. He's an actual character with a real role in the lives of the Baudelaire's that is both an extension of Handler and his own person and that's SO COOL). It's called All The Wrong Questions and doesn't necessarily sound like it's inherently connected to the Baudelaire storyline, but at least we have the opportunity to see into who Snicket is separate from Handler - who I think has a very fitting last name.

I'm with you on the Marauders prequel; it would be a bit strange compared to the HP series since it would probably be following multiple people's perspectives rather than one person's (besides the short parts from Frank, Voldemort, and Snape). But I would love it so much to see the different perspectives of James from himself and from Lily to see if she was accurate in her accusation of him being a bully or if it was mostly misunderstandings. I'd also love to see Snape and Peter. Snape is a character I really hate so it'd be interesting to see him as a child. And I want to see how Wormtail was treated by the other marauders and see how he could betray them.
